A way to resize large images?

Using Takumi as an example, post #70300 is resized, as explained by the bar on top of it (reading "Resized to 70% of original (view original)", at least to me), while post #64536 is shown full size, meaning I can't see the whole picture and I have to scroll all over.
Is there a way for normal users to tell the site to permanently scale them, or is it something only Dosus can do?

I'm pretty sure that post was from before the last upgrade; scaling has always been a bit random...

I discovered that in the "My Account" page, there's a link called "Settings", and in there, clicking "Advanced Settings" shows a list of options, one of which makes large images resize automatically, solving the problem of pre-upgrade images being too big to fit in the browser window
