One Yukkuri Place

Tag requests

Posted under General

Our tags are a bit different for historical reasons.

The "translation_available" tag is equivalent to danbooru's "translated" tag.

The "translated" tag has a different meaning: we use it on pictures with English text, such as hard translations.

The "untranslated" tag is used for pictures with non-English text, and it stays even after the pics have been translated.

No tag exists for house_yukkuri, only small_yukkuri. Is it alright if I start tagging posts with a new house_yukkuri tag?

I don't think we need two tags for the same thing.
I think mini-yukkuri is a better tag name anyways as it is not preclude yukkuri that are not in or around a house.

Right, but "house-yu" is a specific thing, not just "small yukkuri". It refers to the sort that is essentially the yukkuri equivalent of mice or cockroaches; they make their nests inside homes, usually in out-of-the-way places, and have evolved to remain permanently small - among other traits - in order better acclimate to thriving in human dwellings.

I'd prefer the tag be "house-yu", just to keep that distinction clear.

(edit: found a better thread for this part of the post.)

Updated

When is a house-yu not a small yukkuri? Premature_yukkuri are not small_yukkuri are not koyukkuri are not Premature_yukkuri.
Honestly I do not care if they are called, but I feel its important to say that house/mini/small yukkuri are the same.
Besides if post #13814 is anything to go by then house yukkuri evolved from premature yukkuri, and like mice and cockroaches occur in the wild, yet thrive in relatively predator free homes of man.

Thanks, I understand now. But this thing of the "translation_available" tag should be explained somewhere on the guide: I saw a lot of users changing this tag with "translated" because they didn't know this detail. I also changed some posts tags because I didn't know! (I'm going to fix them, don't worry)

"kimeemaru" should implicate "aya".

That is generally true. However, not all Aya are Kimeemaru.

Should Wasa Reimu also implicate Reimu?
What about Marisa's variants?
Yuuka and Yuukanyan?

Sorry for writing here, rest of forum is basically unusable right now due to bots.

I propose following: if we can't fix bot problem, can we create a forum thread for general conversations and stick it so it will be always visible?

requesting "ieyu" or "house_yu"

edit, I didnt see the above posts. I think there must be some work needed with this if it still isn't showing as a tag.

If you search for house_yu you get a single result, so the tag is actually a tag and you can attach it to any picture (as long as there are house yus, of course.)
If you talk about the autocomplete function, that's because the software is unable to update it due to various reasons.
