Yes, that's exactly what I am talking about

When I played it I had no idea you could apply "scolding" to things like hitting them, so I could read it mentioned carrying shit to the toilet in the kanas and went with that.

I realized I completely misread what you wrote
Anyway, I still have some doubts because between the "pretty new" and now there's a lot

If you go out there this is basically a rage simulator when you're not brutalizing the talking pastries, so I imagine it still works but takes upwards of weeks for the training to sink in. I know some of the more good natured ones said "I get it" when told to stop saying "happiness", but then they'd do it again because that's how they're wired - typically the ones I picked were abandoned and said they knew how to use a toilet (and they do), but then they'd say "shitty slave" now and then and shortly after that say "I won't say it again". Presumably there's a way to beat the remaining shitheadedness out of them, but with how long it takes to train them and the game's lethargic pace, doesn't make me want to experiment.

I don't understand

1.44 has introduced the idea that yukkuri should wait for all the others to arrive at the food bowl. A yukkuri might or might not do this depending on how well behaved it is. Failing to wait is supposed to be punishable but it seems to have some quirks if the yukkuri initially waits but loses patience (for instance because I kept moving the other yukkuri away so they never reached the bowl).

This has likely been a problem for a while, but I've been doing more with adult yukkuri so I've now noticed that when adult yukkuri are supposed to insert the player's name (e.g. "mister human") instead they insert a blank string. The text/hanyou/txt.txt file has your_name_X_aka lines but no equivalent your_name_X_sei lines.

Also with this release for the first time I've having performance troubles. Sometimes when a yukkuri goes to lick-lick another yukkuri, the game freezes then the yukkuri teleport into position. I've only seen this with adults so far. I expect it's the same for koyukkuri but I haven't tested.

Does anyone know how do you use the alcohol lamp to set on fire a yukkuri hanging in pet clothes? Supposedly it's possible but when I hang yukkuri in pet clothes they're too high off the ground for the flame to reach them.

For the first time I've had a Marisha ask me to put her up on the slide.

There is also a script line for yukkuri to ask to be put on the trampoline, but I haven't tried to trigger it. As far as I can tell it's not possible to put the yukkuri on the trampoline manually.

There's a bar thingy near the sweater button
Move it to lower the yukkuri

Doesn't picking it up and then dropping it on top of the trampoline work?

Thanks

It seems like no matter where I drop it the yu falls past the trampoline to the floor.

1.45 differentiates some responses that were previously identical (rage-inducing) for GESU and non-GESU yukkuri. Also the action pictures in pict/system/action/new.bmp now include Japanese text.

Script translation for β1.45

Supposedly now yukkuri can be told not to make little ones. I've yet to try this out.

Now they spontaneously poo dance, which seems to mean the old way of stopping them from pooping doesn't matter (they don't understand the problem if you scold them).

Updated

Just to make it clear, because I didn't really catch that, was the bug in which the player was always called "mister human", instead of "mister" or "geezer" according to attitude, fixed?

Maybe that's been fixed, but this was a different bug. It affected adults only. Instead of "Mr. Human, take it easy" they would say ", take it easy".

Get an ultra scummy yukkuri, if it calls you "mister human" the bug was not fixed.

hi guys, really liking this game.

so far every yukkuri I've caught has said "shitty slave go die easy!" or similarly scummy stuff.
Wondering if anyone has been able to train some niceheads or punish them till they learn some manners? can you make yukkuri less scummy?

Also whats the best way to deselect what you're doing to scold them? I'm tired of trying to scold them for poo-pooing everywhere but accidentally feeding them instead.

I did once but was during alpha releases.

You deselect stuff by clicking on the action image, but only if you have the "actions" menu open.

Thanks Easy.

I found a ko-marisa whose scum level is below 100, she always says thank you after eating and even scolds her shithead sister when she poo-poos in the food.
I think I'll take good care of it.

Also there's a stat editor in the debug menu if I felt like cheating.
