So the guy got monopolar magnets (which either defy the laws of physics, or are instant Nobel prize in physics), and is using them to torture a yukkuri?
>>monopolar magnets "I maintain nonetheless that yin-yang dualism can be overcome. With sufficient enlightenment we can give substance to any distinction: mind without body, north without south, pleasure without pain. Remember, enlightenment is a function of willpower, not of physical strength."
-Chairman Sheng-ji Yang, "Essays on Mind and Matter"
EasyModo: given that the north poles are both facing each other, this is a reasonably believable effect. It doesn't get brainbreaking until the sequel where the yukkuri gets the hat on, and it flies off again instead of being crushed against yukkurisa's head by the south end of the hat magnet attracting to the north end of the head magnet.
The thing is, if it were regular magnets, instead of repelling the hat in this comic, the interaction would flip the hat over and then plant it on yukkurisa's head (sideways) - It's relatively difficult to setup magnets to repel each other.
And yes, in the next page, the hat would be firmly held on her head.
So yeah, monopolar magnets. I guess even the universe is ok with bending a law or two if it helps to torture a yukkuri.
