    Gold Badge Marisa

    Ahegao

Such an easy gold badge pet yukkuri

    Tweak

Looks like she's being fed by a parent and being treated with some degree of luxury (sitting on a pillow). Curious about the story here.

    Ahegao

Isn't the story obvious, marisa is the easiest yukkuri in the world that the deserved 100 gold badges and is being fed delicious sweets. Just look at that tears of happiness and happy peeing.

But seriously, where do people find these anko stories anyways? Even if no-ones willing to translate, knowing the website will atleast allow us to use google translate.

    boom

Isn't this every yukkuri's dream? To be a gold badge pet that can take it schuper-thuper easy? I say this pet's got it made.

I've heard you just search "anko ####" and you'll get it. But when I tried that, I got a site that would not let me translate or something.
    I obviously got it wrong.

That works if you search for ankos up to 4700
Not all of them are available (e.g. anko0001 is lost forever), but since there are over 9000 archive sites for the first 4700 ankos, you are bound to find them if you search the number
It's not the case for newer ankos, in that they seems to be uploaded somewhere hard to find, and are not archived like the old ones

    BaronMind

The site for newer ankos is http://yukkuri-futaba.sakura.ne.jp/. It has obnoxous copy protection and won't let Mr. Google Translate take it easy.

I can get stuff off there, but it's a pain. This one is "All You Need Is Die", super longass and rated platinum.

http://yukkuri-futaba.sakura.ne.jp/kariloader/ssanko.html is the anko list page
I knew about this site, but apparently I always missed the list...
Not like I can translate them easy, but it's better than nothing
    Thanks Baron!
Though I can copy and paste text around just fine, I don't know what kind of protections they have

The site itself disables click to select as well as right click and the story itself is loaded into a container of sorts. Don't know anything about JS so if my terminology is incorrect I apologize.

You have to have an addon that enables both to do anything with the text. Also disables auto-translate via google this way. It's clearly done to discourage people from sharing the stories. Not quite sure what happened in the JP community for them to resort to this measure, or maybe they just don't want fakkingu gaijins to read their stories. If you have the right addons it's fairly easy to bypass but obnoxious for anybody else.

    BaronMind

At least they're not blocking foreign IPs anymore...

At least they didn't use flash...

Does this stuff get sold on the doujin market? It seems like a lot of work just to flip off foreigners...

As friendly as the Japanese are to most Americans, when it comes to the internet, they still hate those f'ing gaijins.

I'm not kidding -- just hang around 2ch once in a while.

I see, though apparently they did a lousy job, since I can do whatever I want without any addon: https://a.pomf.cat/epdyfy.mp4
Hopefully they are not reading this message and decide to take countermeasures lol

As far as I know, in Japan (though it's slowly happening in the west too), there is a whole business going around taking messages from BBSs and imageboards, uploding them to some other site, and placing there as many ads (and malware) as possible
Often these sites end up higher in search engine results, so people go there rather than, say, 2chan, with all the problems that follow
There's also the chance that all this stuff was done to prevent those kind of scams, but I don't have anything about them blocking foreign IPs...

I remember ending up on what appeared to be a Japanese server for a game called Pixel Gun. All the people in that server began targeting me specifically and the chat section of the screen began to light up with Jap-talk.
I got the hint they were being pissy when one of them cussed in Engrish. So... Japanese jerkiness confirmed.

No it doesn't. The doujin market actually would gear more towards family friendly stuff, since violence/gore related stuff doesn't sell very well in comiket. (though it does have a large fan following) Comiket is geared towards hentai/ecchi/waifu material stuff in general and is very heavily commercialized by official channels.

OYP has long been viewed as a place that just "rips off" their original work and shares it, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was why they try their hardest to dick over people. Not speaking of yukkuris specifically, but a lot of artists don't want their works to be leaked outside of wherever they posted their stuff. We've dealt with stuff where people asked us to remove certain pieces of art before because they don't want it to be shared. It wouldn't be farfetched to say some of the people would rather the fandom die out completely before posting anything to OYP.

Of course that doesn't represent all the opinions on their site, but there's quite a history between OYP and the JP community in general.

Potentially, since the source is pulling data from some container and the core HTML has nothing. I don't know enough about JS to know whether you can easily bypass it or not though. I'd like to think this is a general measure they take against bots and scrapers rather than malice towards fellow yukkuri fans, but given the population of 2ch who knows.

The more quirky parts in Comiket also doesn't get enough exposure.

Such as the books for train otaku, or... read about photo books with collection of convenience store shopfronts across Japan in C81.

They're called Matome-site (though the business model is better called as affiliate site).

The other side of the problem is how the Chans are working. The posts are not permanent, or need subscription. These sites are filling the niche that want to read old posts, and curated posts (only the interesting comments, and boring repetitive replies weeded out).

The title, All You Need Is Die...
Probably Marisa can reset every time she die, then she keep getting better and better every loop; and that's how she got so many gold badges.
    (hasn't read the story)
