I once again skimmed through the actual story, so here's the major events: This is a family of house yukkuri living somewhere in the old man's house The beginning of the story is the usual "true happiness"-style prologue where the family is cheering and waiting for the new little ones Then the man comes and start shaking their house (I don't know how) The shaking breaks the already-laid eggs, makes Marisa refresh with Reimu, and Reimu now gives birth to more eggs Since the house keeps shaking it's a sort of neverending cycle where Reimu lays eggs which shatters, Marisa refreshes with Reimu (making new eggs), and the little ones generally have a bad time There's probably more to it than that, but I didn't read it
I think i like the egg laying type. I wasn't sure at first but I like it better than the live birth but not as much as the stem birth. I know it doesn't matter, I am just sharing.
