  • So because of a bug in my text rpg I got my young sumireko to have the full gamut of her psychic powers and abused them thoroughly and killed 80 anons and countless squirrels and rats until I got bored >_> It is a damn shame I have yet to finalize a stable save game file system for it because that shit was awesome even if I had very little graphics in it.

    What are you using to make it?
    Can't you just serialize the game data and put it into a file?

    Visual C++ 7.1

    I actually set the data for each perishable item to be an array saved as a string and I have a working stat system. The problem is while I could get the dialog to indicate that I saved the data fine but I cannot load it for some reason once I close the application >_>

    If you're going for Windows, isn't it better to use C#?
    Or write your own reader for a good format.
    Symbolic expressions are nice and easy...
