  • So I was a bit annoyed by how sparse my mostly text based yu simulator was so I started making sprites to be used in it >_> so here is the result.

    I made an offshoot rpg where you can play as a marisa and a sumireko where you can even do a home declaration in the two houses present. This one is pretty bare bones at the moment and there is not much in it except going around and entering the houses to do a home declaration <_<.

    I can foresee myself working on this more in the future. Perhaps I can even put in a battle system with animated battles but that will take too much work.

    I imagine I can incorporate the hunger system of my text based rpg and put it on a timer to be triggered every 5 seconds of game time but that would get frustrating fast if I cannot arrange for more events to find food or to increase the likelihood of getting food.

    The text based yu simulator has that but it is pretty poor as of this moment as you only get to send out your yus to forage and they do not have any personalities at the moment because they are mere numbers. No council members are implemented.

    The way I made it is certain types are required to increase the chances of success of groups for certain work. For example, yuukas increase the chances of your yus to grow food (this is working). Patchies decrease the chances of your yus dying to poisoned food (not yet implemented). Marisas increase the yield of a successful forage (implemented but I am planning to add a twist to this).

    I am planning to have random events occuring like some of your Reimus becoming deibus and alices becoming rapers. You can then deal with them by killing them or ignoring them. Killing them will make your clan members distrust you but ignoring them would trigger the possibility of having more shitheads.

    If you have low charisma your clan members will start trouble with humans and will increase the likelihood of a human encounter (which you alone have to face because I did not yet code the council).

    The RPG is pretty barebones (you only have Sumireko and Marisa as party members) at the moment but maybe just maybe I can implement the same features of the text based simulator to the rpg.
