A yukkuri can be used for anything but room decoration items such as wind chimes, as these are used to create a calm atmosphere with its tinkling in the cool and refreshing breeze, not to stir it up and make you feel bloodthirsty (paste-thirsty).

I think summer-themed yukkuri products would be more suitable if they're designed with festival use in mind, not living space decoration. Aside from the obvious food-grade yukkuris for roasting, frying, steaming or grilling and such (damn now I'm hungry), other ideas may be viable, such as yukkuri fireworks where a single rocket has several kos attached to it - one with the rocket's tip planted into its ass, several others hung on the discharge outlet to enjoy the blazing thrust; or shooting game stalls where you either snipe babies off a parent's stalk, or use freeze-dried babies as ammunition to shoot the parents.

This one would probably make for a good stray deterrent, and would probably be better place away from people.
