I recall back in the day people thinking Yukkuris are in a "in between" state of a raw manjuu and a cooked manjuu, since a cooked manjuu isn't as elastic or thin as a raw one, but neither as fragile.
Not sure how true this was and maybe people who interacted with actual manjuu's can tell us their opinion, but basically yukkuris as a pastry golem are in a weird state compared to the food they were made of.
