Their only hope is to have enough mana and the right spells to summon Justice Mohawk Anon to help them against Scum Marisa, but something tells me they are underleveled so not sure if they have the MP for the summon or the HP to wait for the Limit Break to kick in...
The fatal flaw in this low level run is that they forgot to recruit Crin0 without the frozen debuff this fight at this level is suicide especially when the second phase starts when the boss starts being able to heal themself multiple times per turn
Death is depicted in a non-gruesome way, which you can expect from PG-13 games. So it's not a factor. But one of characters is blatantly called "scum", even if it's in Japanese. So I guess not.

No, they said Mold, this isn't Paper Mario or something...
Though now that I think about it, I do recall some other rpgs with "mushroom" status that had a literal mushroom popping up on the afflicted character's head, though it was more like a fancy way of doing poison, stun, etc. since usually the mushroom had those effects in reality and the whole point of it was that you needed to deal with the mushroom itself to cure it.
Anyway Mold would probably be more akin to curse or something "like poison but it latches deeper into your beign so you can't just chug antidote and be done, you need something heavier for it, be it some super plot device elixir or an actual procedure...or the "yukkuri" goddess blessing"
PD: I say "Yukkuri" Goddess with "" because there is no way that MMD Character in the Eight Seasons game can be Yukkuri in any way, a Goddess? sure whatever but that sure doesn't look even like a bodied yu so nope, JiE doesn't approve.

Well, she talks like a yukkuri, though unfortunately it's lost in translation.
