So, I decided to try to train a Yukkuri to not do the butt dance with the "Waving Finger" button, but it's not going too well. I'm making improvements, for instance, at the beginning, she puff puffed at me, and got angry, but now, she just starts weeping uncontrollably for seemingly forever, as seen here. Sometimes, it knocks off her bow, but I'm always quick to put it back on. Is it because she's a wasa? Or is the game just not that sophisticated?
Also, I didn't pick a Wasa Reimu for any particular reason, she was just the first yu I saw in the pet store.

I really don't think you CAN train a yukkuri not to do a specific animation or action, the game is just not that sophisticated. From what I've gathered, the telling off button used to be the go-to spam button for leveling up yukkuri and dealing with shitheads, but from what I know, just spamming the heart/pet button is much more quicker and less annoying to deal with. The no-no finger is practically a redundant feature, I have never found any use for it. All I can really tell is that it makes a shithead yukkuri stop everything they're doing and either puff puff or cry incessantly. That's it. The butt dance animation is triggered by the yukkuri being happy anyways, if you wanna stop it just torture it until its miserable. Or burn it's feet. Who knows!

Behaviorally, I actually don't think wasas are any different from regular Reimus, hair variations hardly if not completely do not matter at all. Then again, I've seen more shithead and low rank wasas than good wasas, but I think that's only because 3/4 of all yukkuri spawned or born are C rank.
I suppose there's no helping it then. I want little Reimu to be happy. She's been hanging out with Rei-milia, maybe I'll see something come out of that.
