Unless anon has a different tactic from frontal assault, he's pretty fucked. Charging at a dosu with a shovel would be the same as a shithead yukkuri charging at us with twigs and sticks.
Of course, if anon's a Soviet soldier, has an MPL-50 military shovel, and has just knocked on some vodka, it'd be a different story... (WARNING: Russian Bias alert)
On a more serious note, anon's chance of winning lies in baiting the dosu around to his advantage. It could be as simple as observing its movement and sidestepping its jumps and charges, or more complicated as faking a truce and leading it somewhere where he's more advantageous. Had I been anon, I'd find something throwable with a considerable mass (a rock, maybe) and aim for the hat, hopefully knocking it off. Then I'd grab it and run to wherever I may be more advantageous, and have the dosu follow me. The simplest option would be to run to a river and drawing it there, and it'd have to enter the water should it want to get its hat back. If it ever dares to shoot a dosu spark at me, then it'd also destroy its own hat in the process.
So when the dosu's in the water, I'd just need to bait it around and have it stay in there, and let the water does its job in weakening the dosu's feet (jagged rocks coupled with the water may help). If things go as planned like in Aglet's Dosu backstory, then when the thing's immobilized, I can just use the shovel to dig into it and kill it slowly but surely. Or if not, I'd just rip the hat into pieces and release them into the water stream, before swimming along and escaping the scene. The dosu, now left with no hat would have to face the stigma and spite from its community, and eventually die as an outcast.
Reminds me of those video games where there are some bosses (usually the first ones) that only attack frontally, and the trick to defeat them is to simply run in a circle around them while attacking.
