Alright @Hitosura, you can drop the guise that this koReimu is a nicehead now, FFS. Look at that largest note in the bottom right frame.
"But but but, the Reimu thanked its owner before!" you may say. Well take a look at the central note on post #68856 and see how the koReimu actually perceive that so-called "gratitude" that you applauded so much. Not so nice now, isn't it?
And then there's post #70949, where all the care and attention given to the koReimu up to that point by the lady became meaningless. What has all that gratitute towards real, existent acts of genuine love turned into now, huh? Just because of one event, the koReimu forgot all of the favor it has been given up until then, and that's anything but a nice attitude.
Oh, so if the guy antagonizes the KoReimu and tells her that miss gave her to him to abyuse, yet we find out later that the whole thing was a lie -- miss thought she was giving her koReimu to a good organization, and in reality, gave her to an abyuser on accident, then it's KoReimu's fault for not seeing through the deception?
That means he lied to her in order to anger her and antagonize her.
Let me ask *you* something. Why do I never see you speak to the humans who manipulate their child-like intellect and turn them against the person they love, even if deception of the highest degree is involved?
As for her gratitude, that's because you're too immature to understand how much even simple gratitude is enough. Maybe one day you'll appreciate it when someone does things for you, but clearly that day hasn't come yet. I mean, what else CAN KoReimu do for Miss Human, except make sure to show her gratitude?

It all depends on what kind of yukkuri is at the receiving end. If it's something on the same tier as Aotendon's adopted Reimu, or the nicehead ones in pool #1541, then I'd have no qualms in standing for them. But this Reimu that you continuously touted as a good yukkuri, which it is anything but? You can bet on "no".

Simple gratitude, but it must be sincere. Do you call putting itself above its owner is a sincere attitude? Following is another citation from post #68856:
(de-slurred) Reimyu will be so generous as to give miss her gratitute for working her best for Reimyu's sake.
Maybe it lies in the fact that you don't read Japanese, so I'll just say this thing to clarify it: the "will be so generous as to" phrase would be an insufficient statement in English to transfer the conceitedness in the original Japanese script over. Imagine a slave owner jokingly thanking his slaves; this sentence would fit nicely into that context.
So what can the koReimu do to return the favor, you may ask? Taking Aotendon's adopted Reimu as an example again, and you'll see what a yukkuri can do to show its gratitude. It's equivalent to a kid giving a flower to a soldier; it may be a small and (physically) worthless present, but it shows their sincerity and their goodwill. Something that is lacking in the koReimu of this particular story.
post #68856 fixed some translation and added the untranslated part in comment
welp the koReimu in this case may look like a nicehead, but if you can read everything from the beginning of the story, you can see that it certainly isn't.
So conclusion is, if you can translate and have time, might be better to do it and let them see it.
Also if you want a better way to prove the koReimu is a shithead or nicehead, read the top left text at post #68853, it says everything.
Reimu's parents were killed by a scummy mister human?
So, what is she supposed to say? The kind, benevolent human?
No, they have to be perfect, right?
Partially why I stopped debating this. Whatever.
*facepalm* Don't try to evade the matter pal. You're reading the top right panel.
This is the top left that you need:
But if Reimyu died, it'll be like welcoming a global loss, so god guided mish owner to Reimyu's side, definitely.
Does this sound like a nice yukkuri to you? Claiming that it's the center of the world, protected by god, and standing higher above its owner (stated later on)?

Usually, no, but there are exceptions. I'll admit, this is probably the first time I've seen a nicehead with that type of outsized ego. But all the same, she is a nicehead. Even the top right panel mentioned above, it's very telling. She referred to her parents' killer as a "scummy human". Not "shitty human", the almost universal descriptor that shitheads have for just about anything they find beneath them (read: everything). In fact, she hasn't used the s-word once. Shitheads, rather tellingly, use it for just about everything-- things they don't like, things they do like ("This shit's good!"), and sometimes even actual excrement.
Ego alone is not a sin, and delusion definitely isn't. She wrongly believes that she is of a higher class than humans, but she is kind to the "lower class". It's really no different than in societies that still have a caste system. Just because you're in the higher caste doesn't mean you have to be an ass to those of lower social standing.
This is wanky, but I somewhat enjoyed the discussion (argument) that you guys were having re "is this a nicehead or not."
also I think the interesting thing is how it could have chosen to just go around, but kind of just resigned itself to the ordeal. Like, it probably did it cause it's stupid, but let's be honest if it did try that anon would have just stopped it and shoved it into the pins
the nuances in the translation here are so important to. tbh, if that was the intention of the artist - to trick you into thinking she cherishes the clothes cause it was a present from her owner but really she sees it more like a royal gift - ehhh, I get it, but I have a hard time thinking the stupid fucking yukkuri has delusions of grandeur like that, but apparently it does. no bump hell

1) This one is mainly about the relationship of abuser - yukkuri lover. 2) Yukkuri here is a wasa - famous for being a shithead type, the ratio is very high. 3) Normally, a yukkuri will think " this is [yu's name]'s clothes, give it to [yu's name], you know?". 4) Clothes is a stupid invention and an icon of pet yukkuri - that's why all yukkuri like clothes. Stray or wild never wear anything. I think you get the idea here. Yu in this one is a shithead, if you put a nicehead in, it's ridiculous.
