well, apparently not.
Well it's all perspective, if yukkuris, who don't let others take it easy, to the point of proactively make others uneasy, yet they "can" take it easy themselves, then mister sand who isn't letting yukkuri take it easy can take it easy as well.
Just look at it! lying in the floor, doing nothing, relaxing and chilling, no worries, no duties, nothing, just lying there, that's totally taking it easy!

I-I don't know, man. I read that as "don't believe in me who believes in you, believe in you who believes in yourself." I... I think I should stop playing SRW Z2 so much

Okay enough joking around i'll write a proper version of it.
It's simple, yukkuris can take it easy even if they don't let others take it easy, so why wouldn't mister sand take it easy because they don't let yukkuris take it easy? mister sand looks like it take it easy even more than yukkuris chilling and lying around.
anko3540 Can Mister Sandbox Take It Easy? Synopsis: Early one summer morning, three little stray yukkuris--big sister Weimu, Da-je Mawisha, and little Mawisha (original Japanese names: Reimyu, Da-je Maricha, and Maricha)--get permission from their mother to play in the playground by themselves. Most of the playground equipment is impossible to use without their mother's help, so they decide to play in the sandbox. They have races, dig, make sand piles, roll around, and so on. Little Mawicha digs a hole big enough to sit in. The lower layers of sand are nice and cool, so she declares it her easy place. The others follow suit, and all three fall asleep there.
When they wake up, the sun has made the sand uncomfortably hot. While running around playing, they've lost track of where they came in. Weimu knows they can't take it easy if they stay there, so they trudge and trudge, suffering from the heat, until they reach the edge of the sandbox. Unfortunately, to koyukkuris, it's an impossibly high wall. They rest in the slight shade of the wall until the midday sun makes the shade disappear. Then Little Mawisha gets the idea to dig down below where the sand is damp and cooler. The others praise her as a genius, dig a hole, and for a while, they can take it easy.
However, eventually the sun heats up their hole, too, and when they try to climb out, the now-dry sand crumbles under them and sends them slipping back down. The older two turn on Little Mawisha, blaming her for their predicament. They use her as a stepping-stool to get out of the hole, kick sand down on her, poop on her, and finally bury her alive, leaving her to most likely turn into a steamed manju.
Weimu and Da-je Mawisha discover a big sand hill (formed from the sand they dug out of the hole) against the wall. Fighting over who gets to go first, they climb the hill. Weimu reaches the top first and discovers it doesn't *quite* reach the top of the wall. Mawisha steps on Weimu and jumps out, taunting her. As she flies through the air, Mawisha plans to go home, eat her scummy sisters' snacks, get her parents to punish mean old Mister Wall and Mister Sandbox, and make the whole park her own.
However, she lands on burning-hot concrete. It turns the moisture in the skin of her feet to steam. Aware of the danger she's in, she tries to hop away, but her feet won't move properly, and she faceplants on the hot surface, baking her more and burning her eyeball.
In the sandbox, Weimu hears Mawisha screaming and laughs and mocks her. Weimu hasn't realized that she split open when Mawisha jumped on her. She's leaking bean paste, and it's just a matter of time before she dies from bean paste loss.
On the concrete, Mawisha twitches as the heat reaches her paste core. Finally, she dies. A summer breeze blows away her hat and Weimu's ribbon.
At sunset, the parents search the park calling out to their children, but all they find are some accessories and some sweet-sweets. They go on searching, unaware of the figures hovering in the sky that their cries have attracted...
