I was wondering how we proposed new tags and if we didn't have a method, I'd get the ball rolling.
That said, I've started reviving the "wall_of_posts" tag (which I can't tell if it was a joke tag or a serious tag). Is this a joke tag? And if not, are there any objections?
As for what qualifies for the tag, uhh... gut instinct? Personally I just find it interesting to see what kind of arguments the community had in the past.

I propose a rolling tag. I love it when yukkuri do roll-roll.
ever since we got the pool system, new series don't get their own "series:*" tag. Shall we leave them?
wall_of_post is fine for finding old conversations.

we have a tantrum tag, and a bottom wiggling tag so I don't see why not. Any distinct yukkuri feature or behavior that is objective ought to be a tag.

I think we should give each series their own tag because that way you can add the tags to your watch list and save your favorite series that way.

For now, I think we should leave it. I've been going over the "series:*" on and off for months now and every time I check it I always seem to find something that needs fixing.
In the future, it should definitely be dropped though. Unless people start getting creative with series names, its only a matter of time before we start accidentally reusing series tags.

Theres a "Add to Favorites" button on the left of each page. Just use that for the first page of each series and you basically get the same thing. I've been using it for months now.

Yes, but isn't is easier to have a list of all the series titles in one place instead of having to sift through a whole bunch of pages full of random images that you might not even remember when you favorited?

Then use the Favorites/Bookmarks system in your web browser?
I understand your reasoning and it wouldn't be a bad idea if we had used it from the start, but now implementing it would just a lot of extra work for little return. Most 'series' weren't tagged "series:*" and others simply don't have official titles. Not all series have been pooled either so its not like we can go over them that way either.

Thats really dependent on the picture having a translation, but sure. If "its like flying in the sky" gets a tag, I guess those two should.

Adding "series:" tags is using 2 independent mechanisms for the same thing, for little gain.
Operations like adding to pool, removing from pool, changing pool name become both harder to do, and easier to mess up creating inconsistences.
Looks like there is ticket for favorite pools in Danbooru (http://trac.donmai.us/ticket/632 ), but it doesn't look like it'll be implemented soon.
I just remembered what I like about series being tagged rather than (or in addition to) pooled: I do a lot of browsing by artist, and I really like being able to instantly filter specific series out of my results--for instance, going, "Okay, Yun Donuts was fun; what else has No. 36 drawn?" Or, "Let's look at some Murayu-aki... Okay, I've already read Abyuse Counselling [minus click] and Yugyaku Education [minus click]..."
