To reiterate, for consistency. Since it's a copyright tag, shouldn't it make more sense to use the official names, and alias the common names to it?

Right, in that sense it'd be yuu-gi-ou -> yugioh. Or am I mistaken?

I'm much rather prefer the other way around for consistency, but hey, it's your call.
Well I'm just slightly confused because you say to use the official name (yugioh) and then alias the common names (yuu-gi-oh) to it. Either are easy to do, and I think if I'm searching for a parody I'd be more likely to search on "yugioh".
Yugioh! is the ENGLISH title, Yuu-Gi-Ou is the original name. It's similar to jojos_bizarre_adventure with jojo_no_kimyou_na_bouken, or my_neighbor_totoro and tonari_no_totoro. I suppose we could tag them with both like what those examples are doing...
(On a tangent... jojos_bizarre_adventure or jojo's_bizarre_adventure?)
Ah, ok ok. Damn english translations...
Will create alias.
