I'm 100% sure there is a comment around here about a world of speedlines and despair, but I can't find it.
The search function times out when looking for "speedlines".

Forgot my Password a while ago. Was going to create a new account with a new name but apparently that's disabled? Oh well. Been lurking here off and on for a while now. Anybody else notice that it's getting harder and harder to find translated comics these days? Did most of the translators run off?

We had a bad problem with spam bots in like January so the mods disabled it for the time being

And I think its just a lack of interest in Yukkuri now, you dont see many new people now on oyp that are translators or artists and i guess mainly to me bc yukkuri are dying it is just a silly old meme now

But dont get me wrong i wasnt an oldfag but its just how I see it
It may be completely different than how I take it

So ignore my ramblings ive only been here since 2018

I am not sure how "healthy" it is on Japan and other eastern countries, but yeah, Yukkuris on our side of the globe are kinda dying out on interest, can't be helped.

Plus probably for the best, It had a good run.

Now all we need is for Pewdiepie to Meme Review it and proprerly send it off with the Claps of Finality...

Stuff about yukkuri popularity

In japan it's still going moderately strong.
pixiv still has yukkuri-dedicated tags which are fairly active, and on 2chan artists come and go.
So, the low popularity is only for the rest of the world, and even that is debatable. This is just one place where yukkuri are an interest.

With all the bot stuff that happended I want to believe that those numbers of people here every day are bots and not real people

Or they are very VERY shy which I do not believe is the case bc signup shutdown and what not
and if those 7 k people were actually daily users I bet they would have been signed up by now.

It could be quiet lurkers, though. Not to mention the signup being disabled. It's hard to say, really.

No, because when those nicknames were created Sanae was a good yu.

At some point in time we stopped making special tags for "particularly high level shithead types" not sure if it was a product of it getting old or if we never got good alternatives for Chens, Myons, Rans, etc.

Yeah even the community jokes about how you may as well pressume all Marisas and Reimus are shitheads and many works actually having them super low in the world's totem pole, some going as far as have those 2 considered pests because of their numbers and their ammount of shithead and scum actions in general.

Personally I don't favor that but it was notorious people just loved to make bad yu's being majority reimus and marisas with sometimes having bad alices and patchoulis for the ride, ergo only 4 types of "super shithead" names.

Cirno isn't dying off yet! Just busy looking for a new easy place, now that Cirno has finally gotten out of mister boonies! Once Cirno can take it easy again it'll be time for more mister stories, or maybe even mister Strongest Yukkuri Project! (...if OYP is still here by then...)

On that note, are there any other English-speaking yukkuri communities? Or, even places where people from this one like to hang out? Mister IRC is dead pining for mister fjords, mister Google is scum... there was a Discord thingie too, somewhere... has Cirno forgotten anything?

In b4 they all ended up being pure touhou lewds and barely any yukkuri stuff.

Honestly if there is a Discord group I would be interested on checking it out, at least one with all the people from here.
