I am sorry bro, but i felt no empathy for the author story, i just stared to the video without any emotional reaction, i should feel bad about it, but i am not.
Sakura I almost cried, but I also read the lyrics and know the song is meant for the singer's daughter who died in young age.
As for the yukkuri, usually the sadness is gone by hate. Seeing nice yukkuri slaughtered by rabid abyuser, that sympathy to the victim is usually lost with annoyance to the person doing it.

Well there is also the situation on which nice yukkuris are killed and abyused by their scum, trash and shithead peers, like orphan alice and little stray reimu or any Kimoaki Stray Komarisa, which triggers the same "emotional situation" but 10 times stronger out of how trash average to shithead yukkuris are natural anger inducers.

Honestly, i felt no symphathy for author, neither his story, its sad, yes i recognise it, but i dont felt to a touching level, in fact i never felt anything to a touching level, didn felt sad on my mother funeral, didn felt sad at all, the only thing it happen to me was that i listened to a song and guy singing, but didn felt anything about that felt touching or sad, i also was reading Kimoaki and Orphan Alice, and i was laughing my ass off, seriousely that was i got from reading it, the expression of that alice was just hilarious,back to the point, i recognise that the author suffered his loss and stuff, but i didn felt any genuine feeling for it.
I am considering to ask Poweryoga to close the thread before people call me a aphathetic monster.

Though I do think it would make the thread a bit harder if you really have a harder time feeling sad or sympathetic to the stuff we may find sad and such...

Well, i find it sad, i know the guy had a hard time, but i honestly dont anything, and i really thought you werent kidding when you said about "Insert speech", because i actually laughed my ass off when i saw the orphan alice story.
And the objective is not to make me cry, i dont find appropriate to feel sad about an internet story when things even worse and untold happens around the world, the deal of the thread is to be melacholic corner for this site, i only named the thread "Hry May Cry" because i found somewhat fitting to the fact that we are discussing sad stuff.
Yeah but if you go for every bit we upload "nope no tears, sorry but not sad for me" it kinda becomes troublesome, maybe you should let others comment about them for a while.

I just watched it now out of boredom. The music was just too upbeat. If they wanted to make it depressing, they should’ve used a doom metal tune, like something from this one band I’ve been listening to called Eleventh Hour.
