So a little background on what happened...

So Sunday night Dreamhost took the server down for maintenance on their RAID controller. There had been performance issues and they had to replace the hardware. So they transferred the data from the backup server to our site.

Unfortunately the restore didn't complete successfully, and Shii, Toawa and I have been working with the Dreamhost team since then. They finally fixed it about 2 hours ago and Toawa brought the server back up.

So... there's our little drama. At least we know Dreamhost properly backs up our files~

As they say, there's only three constants in the world. Death, taxes, and data loss.

Also, I'm not sure I care enough to ask Dreamhost where the last 10 days went. I'm just happy about OYP still being intact at all.

Also fix the redirect when you upload files..

probably not. Don't have the time that I used to... and even the first time it was mostly shii and toawa anyway.

we took a full back up. Will probably be doing that once every few months.

dosu should give backup to cute parsee...

As I recall, at the time we did offer to upload the backup to anyone who was interested in having it, but no one seemed to be...
