nvm, I ran 252 thinking it was latest version

in 253 it stays in chinese or whatever it is and stuck as it

And madden, what did you do to get that?

I have no idea, anytime I run the jar file I get trippy mode.

I get the same lack of background when I just select the default background scheme from launch options (house and field work fine)
cirno's wings seem to only show when facing in one direction (like how remi used to be)
only idle dialog appears to be nobi nobi
no shitheads spawning
and instadeath on birth seems to be more common than ever

It's not insteadeath, it's you not using a bed under the stalk. I'll fix cirno wing, just needs an extra line of code to flip sprites. Play on field until next release

The mod folder has to be separate to the jar, and its easier to distribute both at the same time than separately. Future releases will only include the jar, so grab the mod folder now

reimplemented cannibalism properly, cannibalizing now reduces hunger, and the cannibalizing yukkuri can drag the cannibalized one around.

Don't use high time accel when they're about to be born, and use two beds side to side. I need a better bed sprite tbh.

Newest japanese version released, literally ages ahead of ours, and they removed English language option entirely

This version is absolutely the best version ever

While I can't read any menus or dialogue (like with 253e when my game was stuck in weird runes forever), at least it's japanese so I can work my way around

It has either decent or great sprites for most things other than yus
It has great items aswell

9/10 would be perfect without kanjis

They just have a lot more people/artists working on it I suppose. It's a shame because I think our version has much better actual interactivity, but they have a lot more features.

It's that, and, we based our version off of one that was already heavily outdated, which didn't help. I might be able to port over a lot of it once I understand the code a bit more, if that's what we want to do
