Is OYP having problems, or is it all on my end?

Indeed, something seems horribly broken - the thumbnails are "blacklisted" and OYP javascript looks corrupted.
Until Poweryoga does something, use http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6101531/oyp_fix.user.js for a quick-and-dirty Greasemonkey script that fixes that.
Damn, notes still don't work.
Thanks to the script, now I can actually see the images but as ParticleMan said, the notes doesn't work. Better than nothing I guess

Still bugged. Or rather, the bork is back. Had to resort to ParticleMan's fix.

It turns out I sold us to google and they're going to release a new yukkuri tablet, where you can press on the tablet and it'll demand sweet-sweets and randomly release feces and liquid on you.
Actually just coordinating with shii for the fixes.

What do you mean Bayformers? The Primes were always dicks, and got a free pass. Its the same reason why Batman can keep throwing Joker in jail, Joker can keep escaping and resume killing ad infinitum for DECADES.

That only happens to me when I had the Greasemonkey script on. It's loading normally when I turned it off, so just turn it off when you're loading the front page and turn it on again, maybe? Or just go straight to the posts page
Have the site been compromised?
Probably some side-effect of the script reloading all Javascript on the page? I've modified the script to @exclude the front page, you can re-download it.
