The joke is that 3Drealms would always answer "when do you plan to release this?" with "When it's done."
Saying "when it's done" is basically saying "I have no actual development schedule plans, PAY NO ATTENTION TO ME OR MY GAME, I AM A BAD DEVELOPER MAKING VAPORWARE"

yeah we know, it's bad, etc. See it this way, maybe now gearbox will make a proper one, people would had whined a lot if the newest Duke Nukem wasn't the "legendary" Duke Nukem Forever, now that forever is finally out of the picture, maybe there will be hope for a proper Duke Nukem.
I trust gearbox, taking aside the fail of DNF (which I think was intentional) they make good games. They still are far away of being valve/blizzard/capcom/sonic team tier.
Just beat Saints Row 3. Better game by ages than the turd that was GTA4. In fact, its one of the best games ive played in years.

Unlikely, unless given a proper closure, franchrises rarely go "RIP". And even the proper closure isn't a 100% assurance, since sometimes they got and make AU or side story titles of the franchrise.
Half Life Episode 3 is going to be the next DNF.
Also, fuck yeah Terraria's new update. Its like Minecraft except not!
Also fuck yeah Apocalypse World even I'm not (or ever going to) playing.
