One Yukkuri Place

Question about character tags

Posted under General

I got a question about single name Touhou character tags: Should it _(character) or _(touhou)? Character Examples: Nazrin, Tokiko, Mima, Koakuma, etc. Putting a charcter: (insert name) just changes it to the yukkuri one instead. Your thoughts?

Updated

I thought the yukkuri one is just "Nazrin", "tokiko", etc. Character:Nazrin and stuff are used for the actual touhou characters. The yukkuri tags are generic tags and shouldn't be green.

Yes, but! Since the character:nazrin etc stuffs are in place already, whenever you try to tag a pic with the appropriate tag (e.g. of the yukkuri Nazrin), the system automatically recognize it as character:nazrin, which leaves a lot of green tags even for the yukkuri.

tl;dr the system doesn't differentiate between the actual Touhou character and the yukkuri for single-name characters

Just tested out, it looks alright I think unless otherwise?

Looks good, though I prefer Nazrin_(character) myself, but hey!

Now it's only a matter of retagging (I'm pretty sure mass edit won't work in this case) and reverting character:Nazrin to just Nazrin (general tag)...

I like that too. I'll revert and retag.

So which one are we going for again? Character:character_example or example_(character) for the human/youkai character?

example_(character) makes more sense.

That one. It also eliminates possible errors of us making stuff into character tags, like cirnos...
