One Yukkuri Place

Long story from hy83523 - Changing My Tune About Manjuu

Posted under General

I'm not trolling. In my mind all text yukkuris are Kiriraitaa yukkuris, see. I don't picture them as Hy yukkuris. XD

Although Hy yukkuris are still cuter than human babies, but only by a factor of 35.16%.

Yukkuris have a natural advantage over humans in cuteness because yukkuris are pillow-shaped. Human babies have all those limbs.

zidana123

Nope, it's a fact that Hy yukkuris are uglier than anything, even more than superiorly cute human babies, I shall not hear further of this fallacy!

Apologize quickly and give sweet-sweets for compensation!
Lots are okay! Sorry for setting things straight!

Human babies are cute because they're rounder than adult humans! But how could they be cuter than something that's entirely round? :O

poweryoga

...why would you punish danogoat? O_O

Because roundness =/= always cute or cuter.

Gesuaki/Z-Aki yukkuris are nearly perfect spheres yet they are all ugly and anger inducing, same for Hy Yu's and most recently Suiso who is balancing between cute and anger inducing ugly.

Even squareish stuff can be cuter than round stuff depending of the details and creature. Kiri's yu's are cute because he makes sure to apply such cute details, while Gesuaki makes sure his yu's lack them.

Gesuaki's yukkuris are adorable as well! They are also usually cuter than human babies! (with a few exceptions) :O

Being round automatically adds 100 points to the cuteness meter! :O

zidana123

And you are a heretic enemy of the holy emprah tha can't tell that Hy yu's are obvious chaos hell spawns as hideous as the worse daemon! and that Kiri-yu's are nothing more than slaanesh tools meant to attract the spiritually weak to become the soul toys of the depraved chaos god!

*IMPERIAL PUUUUUFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF*

But how can you puff with that armor on? o.o

(the space marines are part of the empire, right? I don't know the first thing about 40k other than tyranids are the inspiration for the zerg)

zidana123

You don't need armor to Spread The Imperial Creed to the unenlighted and the heretics!

(Yeah Space Marine are part of the Imperium, bunch of xbox hueg power armored super soldiers.)

Dosu Poweryoga and Danogoat are in a BDSM relationship, that's why!

This explains so much.

Read the latest updated, I wonder how long until One finally changes his tune, an innocent could end up suffering because of his unwillingness to acept how yu's aren't as cute and as innocent as He think they are.

Updated

Page 6 is up!

Don't read this post if you haven't read the new part!

This is the first time I've seen a story where a yukkuri successfully exacted revenge on a human for killing her little one(s). O_O

Trying to suffocate the baby doesn't seem like a very yukkuri plan though. Usually they try to smash, bite, or stab when they attack things. Unless Marisa tried smashing and biting and it didn't work. And I guess she might not have found anything to stab with.

Making the prediction now (although judging from Mother and Daughter, it's pretty hard to second-guess Hy). I think the baby's gonna die.

zidana123

The thing is that the koyukkuri wasn't killed by One but from the look of it, Marisa and Co killed it themselves, then somehow they decided to blame big bro for it. It's obvious that Marisa did it, Patchouli wouldn't do something as stupid as "killing the baby that lives with the guy that will save MY babies", plus the smug and mockful tone of Marisa gave her away.

Besides it doesn't need to go that far, it could just end with the baby surviving, but One loosing all his social integrity with his sister and Asu, and maybe have big brother Hu tell him "Didn't I tell you they weren't nice creatures? See what happened!?" this time less mockful and more concerned.

JusticeItEasy said:

No no, the narrator -did- kill that Koreimu.

I returned to the closet door and tossed the koyukkuri into the little wooden bed.

With a "YUPLEH...." the koyukkuri started to roll around on the little wooden bed.

I cleaned a little bit near the door, and was about to close the door and leave when one of the koyukkuris made a noise of "Unnhh.... Unhg..... Yuyu..... UUguu." I didn't pay it any mind and closed the door.

The sheet on the little wooden bed was covered with a pile of bean paste. In the bean paste was a white piece of dough skin. The thing that caught my eye was the red ribbon.

He threw the koyukkuri on the bed and injured her, and then later he heard her whimpering in pain, and at some point after that she died of her injuries and vomited while dying.

Marisa may not have been able to articulate it properly, but she was right about that one, at least.

As far as the baby dying... I dunno, this is Hy we're talking about. I feel that of all the yukkuri writers he might pull something like that. I mean, just look at what happened at the end of Mother and Daughter with Popular Marisa. Plus the baby's been more of a plot device than a character this whole time anyway.

zidana123

That last line is what makes me think there is something fishy and that it wasn't One's fault, It sounds like they ate her or something, I mean only a bit of dough, paste and ribbon remains? Where is the body?
I get the feeling that they ate her after it got slightly injured and them tasting her filling made them go cannibal.

JusticeItEasy said:

But if they ate her, why are they freaking out over it? The other koyukkuris are terrified of the corpse, and the parents are pretty obviously anguished. I don't think their emotional trauma is an act here. They seem able to speak the words of a lie, but unable to hide their emotions, as seen from Marisa's smug attitude when telling the narrator that Patchouli tried to kill the baby.

And it's my fault if the translation isn't very specific, but the text doesn't suggest that the dough skin has been reduced from its original size. The chinese here is

小木床的铺被上沾了一大滩豆沙馅,馅子中还参杂着一些白色的面皮

literally translated it comes out to

Small Wood Bed ['s] Spread Blanket Up Stuck [It Is So] One Big Pile Bean Paste Filling, Filling [object] Inside Also Join Mix [In The Process Of] One Some White Color [adjective modifier] Dough Skin.

It doesn't suggest that the bean paste or the skin was diminished in any way from its original volume or that it was eaten or consumed. Just that there's a pile of bean paste and there's dough skin in it.
