new frontpage picture voting time!

...On another note, maybe we should add a pool or tag for all the previous pictures that were selected as front page images, and add a comment mentioning that this picture was selected and what period it has graced the front page of OYP. A sort of "album of OYP front pages", if you will.

Yes, the voting is held annually in December. The whole mid-summer switcheroo deal happens in case two particularly good contenders pop up and there's no clear consensus. It's a system that works!

maybe parsee should make a pic to use. that way lazy parsee can do draw draw for once.

Do we have a pool that collects all the images used as OYP's front page in the past? Would be useful, even as something to browse with at least.
