Personally I think that when it comes to fixing a tag, making an alias isn't the best way.
If you see other posts with an incorrect tag, go and fix them.
Truth be told, I don't really want to use aliases unless it's strictly necessary.
The various input fields where tags can be written, all have an autocomplete feature so I think we should make the most out of it, especially now that it actually works.
After writing a few characters of the tag, if said tag doesn't appear then you are using a tag with not posts and it's likely that the tag you are trying to add has already a different name.
Also this thread has ran its course in my opinion. It served us well these past 9 years, but it's time to retire.
I personally don't mind having multiple forum posts for multiple alias/implication requests.
Of course if other people don't want to, they are free to recycle an old thread, but in principle there's nothing wrong with making a dedicated thread.
Basically, I'm going to unsticky this thread and if people want to reuse it they are free to, but it won't have any special role (i.e. being stickied) like before.
All that said, this alias will be approved.
