Question about certain tag deletion

How we delete certain tags? I've seen some tags in the artist and tags that are either misspelled or screwed up from the earlier tag poisoning. Some of those tags are still here even though the tags were fixed.

I noticed that there was a misspelling of remiryaaki on a few images (was remiyraaki), which I just went and fixed.

The tag disappeared from the tag search after that, so the system may be deleting the empty tags once there are no references to them.

I think if there's no wiki entry it gets removed automatically, otherwise it stays.

Tags remain forever unless manually deleted.

How do you manually delete the tags? I tried doing it myself and got a access denied message.

You don't. Admins have to edit the DB directly. Don't worry, it'll get done.
