Barrakketh almost 13 years ago I noticed that there was a misspelling of remiryaaki on a few images (was remiyraaki), which I just went and fixed.The tag disappeared from the tag search after that, so the system may be deleting the empty tags once there are no references to them.
T1G almost 13 years ago I think if there's no wiki entry it gets removed automatically, otherwise it stays.
