Maricha does her thing where she claims to be a "hero" who can defeat the evil abyuser humans. Eventually her father Marisa is convinced and they depart from the clan to vanquish all shitty humans in the world. As they depart they say their goodbyes to the other members of the clan. Notably among them is an Awiche who is Maricha's playmate (they're implied to have feelings for eachother). She gave Maricha her most precious treasure, a shiny marble, and Maricha promises to return to her once she made the world a yukkuri heaven free from humans.
Their first human encounter is a salaryman who's exhausted from work. They attempt the usual delusional father-daughter strategy: father Marisa distracts the salaryman by talking to him while Maricha secretly comes from behind and attempts to kill him. It didn't work and the salaryman retaliates by calling them vermins and gives some light abuse, they got flicked, stomped, Maricha's hat got torn and Awiche's gift marble got plugged in Maricha's anyaru. He eventually left without killing them. But Maricha's spirits are still high and she hasn't given up yet.
Next they encounter a miss carrying some sweets. The yukkuris demand her to hand over the sweets, only for her to reveal that her sweets are fried yukkuris that she cooks herself. At first the two thought she was just stupid for thinking yukkuris are sweets, but seeing her eat the wasa made them realize that she's a genuine yukkuri-eater. Maricha is bewildered to find out that there are humans who eats yukkuris and the two are frightened. Maricha's dad eventually ran away, abandoning Maricha who then passes out from fear of being eaten.
When Maricha woke up she saw a baffling sight, her father eating delicious food. Though she is a yukkuri eater, miss isn't an abyuser and apologizes to Marisa by sharing some food with her (though shithead Marisa just thought that miss is now her slave). Maricha expresses dissapointment in her dad for abandoning her and then befriending the human. This angered Marisa who then tries to kill Maricha. Maricha runs away and Marisa chases.
As she runs, daddy Marisa crashes into a human's leg. Unlike the previous two, these trio of humans are actual abyusers and they retaliate by calling the yukkuris trash and beating Marisa up. While two of them beats Marisa up, one of them talked to Maricha. He insults Maricha's "hero" title, heroes are supposed to save the weak and helpless but Maricha doesn't do a thing to prevent her father's abyuse. Maricha is angered and turns to her father only to find that her father has been crushed into a barely-alive ball. They depart to the park to play ball with Marisa, telling Maricha "If you're really a hero, feel free to come to the park and try to save your father"
At first Maricha's spirits are still high, but then she slowly recalls the words of the humans: Salaryman: "Yukkuris are pests"; Miss: "Yukkuris are manjuus (food)"; Abyuser Trio: "Yukkuris are trash". Maricha's spirit slowly broke, it slowly starts to sink in that she isn't as great as she thought she is. It rained and she started to melt, even mister rain and mister sky abyuses her.
But as she is about to die, a human approaces (to be continued).
