What's wrong?Anti-Personnel Mine:
Anti-personnel mines are not for killing enemies in themselves. The most effective power of a anti-personnel mine is just blowing one leg of a soldier which struck a mine off. Becase, the unit have to rescue the immobilized wounded soldier (for humanitarian reasons), except extreme special unit like Wild Geese. This is reason why anti-personnel mines are counted as a inhumane weapon. If a soldier died, damage of the unit is just one permanent disabled soldier. But if they get wounded soldier in need of rescue, usually needs two other soldiers to rescue him, and this makes one permanent and two more temporary or permanent (...because rescue in the battlefield is attended with dangers) disabled soldiers for combat. This means about 30 percent loss of the power in a squad (organized with about ten soldiers), and also means the squad does not work as a combat unit (30 percent loss of the power in the army means the level of impossible to maintain the activity as an organization, and generally --exept Japanese Imperial Army-- evaluated as "annihilated").
Bore Sighting:
Sniping at a incoming target which is coming in the marked sight is easier and more effective then sniping at a moving target.
