Anon is telling a story from his childhood. Back when he was five, the teachers would bring the kids to a field, and there they would plant seet potatos and cucumbers to be eaten later. One day, as he's peeking in on the field, he sees his first yukkuris, a Marisa and a Reimu. But his wonder is soon replaced by rage, because of what they've done to the crops. He starts beating them up, before finally ending their lives with a shovel he finds lying around. Anon decides that yukkuris are nothing to be afraid of, an opinion he considers a bit paste-brained now.
Since then, he makes it a point to patrol the field every day, but the next bunch of yukkuris only show up a week later, a Marisa-Alice with three children. He throws rocks, taking out the children first, before beating on the parents with a pole. After he kills Alice by stabbing it through the eye, another kid finds him.
The kid, which Anon refers to as K, points at a surviving Koalice, asking for it. As Anon watches, K gets the young yukkuri to explain what it means to be city-sect, shooting down every explanation and attacking it mentally. Eventually, Koalice comes up with the reasoning that city-sect means being a yukkuri, which K accepts... before asking why do Alices say city-sect instead of yukkuri instead, causing Koalice to throw up paste and die.
Impressed, Anon teams up with K to finish off the Marisa, but just as they're about to kill it, a teacher finds them, and Marisa begs for help, lying about the situation. However, K defends Anon, and presents the condition of the field as evidence. The teacher then scolds them, but thanks them for protecting the field, before taking Marisa away.
The next day, Marisa has reappeared on the field with a horrible expression, propped up like a scarecrow with a bucket to replace its hat. Anon asks the teacher about how Marisa got that expression, but is told to wait until he gets older.
About a month later, the crops are harvested and the kids are eating happily. Anon asks K about the day's destination, recalling the fun night before when he killed an Alice with rocks while K broke down its Sage Patchouli mate with questions. Anon plans to use the parent yukkuri instead of stones this time, and K asks for a koyukkuri to interrogate. They share a smile secretly.
