>>Why do I get the feeling that this is one of those 'Good yukkuri helps Deibu, Deibu prospers and good yukkuri gets exhausted , Deibu kills/eats/rapes good yukkuri' stories? Because the world is a cruel and unfair place.
This pic comes after the other one so I'll post here.
After seeing its child bit oniisan, the mother is aghast. She begs him to forgive the baby and when he says he doesnt really care about the bite, she thanks him endlessly and says she loves him. The reimu starts screaming about wanting to be released from the container at the "slave", but the mum and older sister yell at the stuck reimu and it quiets down and apoligies (only to its family though).
The dude decides to keep the family and has some things left over from a pet he used to keep. He leaves stuck reimu outside and makes a place to sleep along with food and water for the other yukkuris inside. Then he goes straight to sleep.
The older sis worries about her sister being cold, and finds an old worn glove lying around. She brings it out to stuck reimu to use as a blanket. "Onee-chan... shank you..." . "Can yoush bwring me sum water?" "Reimu..." "Weimu wants water! Bring reimu some! Immediatly is okay!"
The bigger sis goes back inside and has trouble navigating because it is pitch black. She thinks about how she can bring the bowl of water outside, then has a flash of inspiration and relizes she can just carry the water in her mouth. Trying to drink the water in the dark, she accidently falls in the bowl.
"Yu-yu yupah yupah! Reimu's getting wet! Mister Paste is gonna come out!" She struggles desperatly but cannot get out of the bowl. She relizes that over time the water will seep into her skin, she'll falls apart and then die.
As she swells up with water, she thinks about how she saw a catapiller move at lunch time, and imitates that by doing stretch-stretch. Shaken but alive, she makes it outside with a mouth full of water to give to her sister.
"Oneesan is slow! Didn't reimu tell you she wanted to drink-drink immediatly!"
"Mmm, mmhmm hmm, mmhm."
"Oneeshan, speak properly! Are you shtupid? Wanna die?"
"MMH mhhmh mmhmm MMhhm!"
"Oneesan is actching gross! Being an annoying idiot trash! Dish kinda trash should hurry up anhd die!
"Hmm-hmm, mmm- gulp gulp gulp............Reimu... Big sis is getting really angry!"
"Yu? Big shis is angry?
"Saying big sis should be punished, saying bad things to big bro.... Big sis hates you!"
"Yu!Yu! Yuyuyu!! Wryy! Why do you hate reimu! Even though reimu didn't do anyshing bad!"
konakona said: As she swells up with water, she thinks about how she saw a catapiller move at lunch time, and imitates that by doing stretch-stretch. Shaken but alive, she makes it outside with a mouth full of water to give to her sister.
The elder sister turns around without a word and goes back inside to sleep.
"Oneesan, donch leabe! Why! Wry are you leaving? Oneesan!"
As the back of her sister disappears from view, stuck reimu mutters 'why' to her self, unable to understand what just happened.
There are a few puddles of water from when her sister spat some drink out. With all of her might, stuck reimu tries to reach them with her tounge, but she can't stretch it far enough. One or two drops shine with light reflecting off them moon, just out of reach.
[Next Day]
"Yuyu! Reimu woke up! Little one, it is morning!" "yuu.. yuu.."
"Little one is such a sleepy head. But she's cute so it's all right! "Yua? Mummy."
"Little one woke up easy? Reimu's cute little one, good morning." "Mummy, good morning! Reimu woke up easy!"
The yukkuris chat, and the parent Reimu eats breakfast as the litte one goes exploring. With the warm sun beating down, it seems like a completly diffrent place to the darkness where she almost died last night.
"Haaah... It feels like I can take it really easy." She says under her breath.
"Yu! Yu! Yu! Theres lots of really easy mister water everywhere!
Dew has collected on the fresh plants around the property, and reimu has a taste.
"Mummy! There's lots of tasty water here!"
"Little one~! Breakfast~! Come and let's munch munch together!" "Yu-es!"
"..ke ..i..t.. ..sy..." 「ゆ?」
"Little one~. Hurry over here~!" 「ゆぅ~♪」
The reimu thought she heard a sad voice, but the second she hears the warm call from her mother she hops over to eat.
"Yugi... it's cold.. Reimu hurts... Can't move foot-foot... Sho cold" The stuck reimu has been outside for all of the cold spring night. Although the morning has brought light and warmth, the stuck reimu is suffering from something the eldest child was enjoying earlier: The morning dew.
The yukkuri that the elder child left outside has been mercilessly assulted by the elements all night. She barely managed to protect her head that was sticking out of the container because it was covered by the warn out glove, but the rest of her body had no defense against the cold temperature and morning dew. Her skin has already weakened from being stretched by hanging and now with the dew it has become sodden and pale. The moisture is seeping into her skin and mixing with the flour, causing the membrane to become impure and even softer than normal.
From top to bottom stuck reimu is in intense pain, it feels as if she is being stabbed by thousands of tiny delicate needles. Even though she tries to tell her body to move it no longer responds.
"It hurtz... it hurtz... Sho cold... Footsies won't move... Reimu's mister footsies.. Reimu ish lonely... Big Shish.."
The stuck reimu no longer has the capacitiy to even raise her voice.
.
"Morning! Are you doing well? .. Ugh! What the heck is this?! It looks disgusting... I kinda feel sick"
Haha, that's awesome. The shithead Reimu got punished, by the nice one is doing *just* fine. I'm usually more interested in *how* they suffer, instead of whether they deserve it, but it's a nice outcome.
Epic Yu Time! Smacking and Smashing Bad Yu's and Petting Good Yu's all while being manly and awesome as epic music plays as BGM! Changing the rules of the Game! Am I right, hater? DON'T HATE!

Why are you sad? the good yukkuri prevailed, the scum got purged, it's a win-win scenario! Cheer Up! It would had been sad if the Big Sis had died just for listening to the scum she had for a lil sister. Way to many Good Yu's die for being kind to the wrong Yu.
I'm glad this Reimu was smart to come out alive from the bowl and not let the abuse from her sister go further.

Well, disregarding the issue of shittiness, the description of how the lil' sis suffered brought a sad expression upon mine visage.

EPIC MANJUU FLIP! *grabs the shithead that was getting it's feet burning and flip it so now it has it's hair and face burning*

Well I think this is a case of your mileage may vary, I didn't find it that sad because her attitude and actions lead to it with the way she treated those that tried to help her, the mister who initially was helping her got a bite, insults and a "slave" label for all his troubles and her sister nearly died and got insults from the her when she got back for all her troubles.
As grim and violent as non FF work can be, one could dare to say that those with shitheads facing death and suffering at the end could be a bit aesopish if you think of them as stories of creatures whose attitudes and actions who we must not be like or realize our wrongs instead bitterly stick to our wrongness until the bitter end like the bad yu's.

I don't know why, but I just burst out laughing when I read this...
Also, looking over my trans from before, they're pretty messy, sorry bout that guys, I kinda just started to give a translation with out even intending too lol. I might read the first too stories and post a brief synopsis of what happened. I'm pretty curious to find out how the retard got stuck in the first place... maybe there was food inside the container and once she ate it she was too big to get out?

Warning: TL;DR
Maybe, but if we look at how the yukkuri are portrayed, or rather, how you said to me about how the system worked, I'd say that I would feel (slightly) sorry for her anyhow, considering how shitheads cannot change, thus making their behavior deterministic. Another approach that would almost lead to the same result, would be my take on yukkuri behaviour, where yukkuris are capable of change, in which I would rather lament the fact that they either have been raised in such a manner that they cannot behave "decently", or that that the life of the yukkuri has changed her into that thing she is today. Remember, I don't believe that things happen spontaneously, so it's not like yukkuris become shithead for no reason at all.
Well, it's the same with my view on most animals.

Maybe, but most things like that don't lead to death, at least not in the western world.
'sides, humans have an almost hardwired instinct to survive, so I doubt that they keep their stubbornness until they die. :p
Well one detail that i think seems to get forgotten a lot is that as much as we label them as monster fauna, animals and such, yukkuris aren't natural construct, not even in the "youkai object" sense. It is implied someone made them, they are golems, maybe the creator made them like this or maybe the creator made them like the average FF yukkuris and then a powerful wizard came and modified them for his own ends.
It usually helps to explain why yukkuris can be so deterministic as you said, it's like dealing with preprogrammed robots or bioengineered monsters, and how that is sad it depends on each person's perspective and the very creature's action.
Check Justice from Guilty Gear for example, she destroyed Japan killing millions and triggered a war that killed even more, but, as she says, she's programmed to do that, she was made into that by "That Man" and can't change unless someone with equal knowledge on Gears somehow "reprogram her", yet it's not strange to not pity her or not feel sad and instead give her the middle finger, all because of it's attitude and actions.
With yukkuris is the same deal, as deterministic and incapable of change out of their created nature, pitying or despising them maybe an equally right reaction, as long as you remember that Shitheads and Scum had to be dealed with since "letting them be" won't lead to any good.
All this of course, being a "In world" Perspective adapted from the rules of the yukkuri world. I'm not sure how it would work IRL and i rather not think about that since Yukkuris are impossible in IRL terms.
Sotodashi said: 'sides, humans have an almost hardwired instinct to survive, so I doubt that they keep their stubbornness until they die. :p
Humans are well known for being able to overcome their instincts and humans as stupidly stubborn to the bitter end as yukkuris is a very common thing, reason why i think yukkuris make a good aesop against such stands, at least for such invalid reasons, dying for stubbornly stick to really noble ideas isn't as bad as dying because you don't accept the guy you had been insulting, calling a slave and demmanding to die turns out to be better than you and kills you.
And don't worry about TL,DR. as long as they are civilized enough and not "HERP DERP NERDRAGE ABOUT MAGICAL PASTRIES" everything is cool.

Yeah, and the state of a yukkuri will be based on the author/drawers preference anyway. :p
Since they there are no real ones that one can base standards upon.
JusticeItEasy said: It usually helps to explain why yukkuris can be so deterministic as you said, it's like dealing with preprogrammed robots or bioengineered monsters, and how that is sad it depends on each person's perspective and the very creature's action.
Indeed, it all falls down to how the author wants them to act in the end.

Yeah, but the difference is that
1. Killing countless people is somewhat different from being a yukkuri ass(which may not harm another yukkuri/human at all). Thus, in the face of a major threat like that would, one would more likely to be thinking of ones own survival and that of others, rather than pity. Afterwards, it would be more likely that one feel pity for the girl that had no free will, and only killed because she was forced to.
2. An almighty being like Justice may never end up facing repercussions for her forced behavior, thus making it unlikely that she ever feels despair or sadness. Well, I don't know if she was able to have any emotions at all during her brainwashing anyway.
JusticeItEasy said: as long as you remember that Shitheads and Scum had to be dealed with since "letting them be" won't lead to any good.
Well, that is one point I disagree with, since it's the same same as assuming things. A fair comparison would be if I found a spider which I know preys upon other insects. If I killed it, I would be sure that all those insects would be able to live. But I wouldn't do it.
Why?
Because I don't believe that I should have the power to give others "death" so easily based on my own prejudices.
Every life can be happy and sad alike, no?
I think also that it's more an issue for me though, since yukkuris in many ways are so human-like.
JusticeItEasy said: All this of course, being a "In world" Perspective adapted from the rules of the yukkuri world. I'm not sure how it would work IRL and i rather not think about that since Yukkuris are impossible in IRL terms.

Well, as you might know, I'm not quite fond of abuse. :p
Not saying that I only read FF of course, but I don't like enforcing "judgments" on weaker beings just like that. In some weird manner on the other hand, I don't have much problem with yukkuris them self punishing other yukkuris. Well, the first thing I mentioned proves to be a problem most of the time since I love kiriraitaa's works, but he always mixes in abusive anons. :(
Sotodashi said: 1. Killing countless people is somewhat different from being a yukkuri ass
Well yukkuri do more than just being assholes, many times they kill your pets (be it yukkuri or a weak normal animal) many times they eat your crops if you are a farmer, many times they invade your house and wreck it, many times they attack children or elderly people. And that without incluiding the potential ecological damage they can produce, which is discussed and shown in many stories.
Probably the only thing preventing yukkuris from killing thousands or millions is being weak and easy to deal with, but, in those stories on which they are given enough power for that, they willingly wipe out cities because they feel like it or show a supremacist complex that makes the human ones pale by comparison. But the attitude is still there even if in general they are weak.

You are assuming that this is all "assumptions and prejudices" when it's all facts, when people go for "kill all the shitheads adn scum" is because fact had proven it as the only solution, both for the easiness of the good yukkuris and the peace of the humans. Leaving them alone won't do any good, way to many stories show this. A shithead and scum will prey on the weak, invade homes and farms, overeat their enviroment leaving it barren, attack humans that don't abide to their way or to serving them, etc. There is no natural benefit from their existence and neither they give a unnatural benefit to the world with their way of facing the world.
And i think it's a bit of a fallacy to compare killing a scum yukkuri with killing a spider, because both kill, a spider kills for eating and to survive, a bad yukkuri? because it feels like it, because you dared to not serve it or you dared to not give it your well earned goods. Plus there is the whole thing that spiders help the ambient while bad yukkuris ruin it.
Sotodashi said: Well, as you might know, I'm not quite fond of abuse. :p

In all seriousness, if that's your preference, i would HIGHLY recommend you to avoid those stories you don't like, because while TL DR civilized is fine and all it can get old fast, the same way than people going ";_;" on abuse pics or people stating their disaproval of humans being the ones killing the shitheads and all that.
It helps a lot in the community's stability and it makes the whole experience more relaxed, since at some point we just can't endlessly disagree when it's obvious that the work doesn't carter to one of us.
Kinda like if i went to Rorinko works and argued they are annoying and bothersome, aside of being against the rules if it's a ff pic, it would reach a point that i would start making people feel bothered and tired, so i avoid rorinko's works unless something interesting catches my eye, and i avoid any mention or implication of my dislike of his moeblob yu's.
Well, I guess it's pretty redundant to go on in this manner, but I wont't spam pics with anti-abuse so don't worry uneasy.
And I don't mind yukkuris being punished, but I prefer the yukkuris doing it themselves. That feels more like "justice" than if a human would've done it anyway :p
