woo I think that's all of Kimoaki's works that have translations available. If anyone could please translate the rest it would be greatly appreciated!
You've definitely improved, editing-wise. If you're looking for other things, there are some works from, say, Pretzel-aki or Remirya-aki...
Nice work. I was wondering when someone would edit this series.
I NEED MORE!
If there was more, I'd be on it. Unfortunately, this last part was posted quite some time ago, and kimoaki seems to have moved on to other things.
I could of sworn she said she wanted to be a momie...
No, this translation is correct; if you look in the source, pgraphic's translation was corrected by tora to this translation.
Ah I see... now she can only rub-rub reproduce.
The suggestion here is that for Kimo-aki or at least in this story, peni-peni is the only reproduction method. Jence why it's crying it can't be a mother any more.
somehow after I read this I always have to cuddle my neutered cat and I always say to him that he can't be a daddy no more
This is a despressing story
You're taking it too seriously Anelaidlives, it's mainly comedic, you know, make fun of the ignorant human, make fun of the dumbass yukkuri.
Take it Easy, man, this clearly isn't a dramatic or serious work.
I know, but something about it crying that it can't a mother is soul-crushing.
Again, take it easy, truth be told, this is nothing, pure comedy. Specially because Kimoaki style clearly isn't meant to be depressive, the tears in kimoaki works tend to be emotionless, basically, cocodrile tears.
If you want a truly depressive stories, check Orphan Alice, Yukkuri Family from the City and that one about the continous abuse of that lil orphan reimu. Maybe you already did, but believe me, this is nothing, compared to what true depressive stories can be.
While it is ture that there is sadder stuff out there.Kimoaki makes some good sad stuff sometimes this one included.
did I actually type sadder... sigh.
there is stuff out there that is more depressing.
Does this series continue?
Nope, this is the end unless kimoaki decides to do chapter 2 [which I highly doubt].
@CokerpilotWe could argue about some of kimoaki works being sad, like the Orphan Marisa's stories which did had some truly depressive factor, but this one isn't, since it's is clear humor based on typical yukkuri dumbassery combined with human ignorance. Seriously guys you don't cry or get sad watching southpark or aqua teen hunger force, and this very story is of such nature, a cruel yet funny comedy.
@anelaidlivesHmm no, i think this is the end, also Kimoaki hadn't been active for a looooooong time, since even if this wasn't the end we wouldn't know if Kimoaki will return and finish it or what, it has been so long since his latest picture was uploaded in the Japanese sites.
Kimoaki does manage to make his yukkuri, and especially the Marisas, look somewhat pitiful, but I'm more sad about the fact that there are actual people accidentally hurting their pets out of sheer stupidity.
@Easy ExpertNow that's something i could get sad about, that behind the laughs of this comic, it reminds you of some real life negligence...
You just made me a Sad JIE =<
JIE I wasn't arguing. I think this story is both tragic and some times humorous. The first half has some decent humor but the second half is more tragic. It's a ko and it's still learning to live in this environment. Which is what makes it sad.
Tragedy is when it is serious, this clearly isn't serious, why is that? Because the whole premise is being taken in a funny and clearly dumb way.
You're taking seriously something you should take it easy, there are works that you should take them as tragedies and such because of the seriousness, this one, clearly isn't. So please take it easy, don't cry just because kenny and carl were killed yet again...
Well maybe a good example would be time bandits, i didn't like the ending of that movie, on which the kid is left alone after his negligent parent's were idiotic enough to touch something that would make them go boom, but, should i take it as a tragedy when the whoooooooole movie was about laughs and the very scene was done like that? nope, it's comedy, it's for the laughs, i shouldn't take it seriously, if i do so, it kills the majority of the funny because a great deal of the funny needs you to not be serious about the scenarios.
This, as a comedy, is black-humor, especially at the end, and something about the last page is sad.
Silly Marisa, a Peni-Peni is for Yukkuri who want to be fathers.
If you want a truly depressive stories, check Orphan Alice, Yukkuri Family from the City and that one about the continous abuse of that lil orphan reimu.
I must say that what one finds sad and what one does not is really personal. For example, "Orphan ALice" seems absolutely lame to me and I've never thought of it as a good story whereas this one never fails to make me depressed.
Your right, it is based on opinions. Like I found this to be pretty saddening, but that is just the way I interpreted it. Others can find it comical, and I can easily see how with it being a klutz of an owner. But this is a story, and the great thing about stories is that they can be interpreted in many ways that the reader deems fit.
Anon, you are dumb motherfucker.
