I'm starting to get into this feet burning...
And the mother's a bitch as always.
Yeah. Feet burning is both physical and mental torture in one. Probably hurts the blobs like hell, and prevents them from taking it easy ever again.
Oh, I just realized trying to read the bottom panel that birds eat them. Sweet.
I'm a bad translator, huh? I can read parts but can't actually translate them.
I really like this type of comic. For one it's good quality, colored, and the yukkuris are consistent; that is, their faces don't drastically morph every frame. Second, it's a nice little story and not just a page of random killings. And third, it's a farm story which I believe is the best place for a yukkuri story- it gives a perfect explanation for why people do the things they do to them. Their arrogance and greed is on full display here as they just storm into a field of crops and assume it's theirs for the taking.
Lastly, ignorance from the parents in the form of them accidentally killing, helping to kill, or not knowing what has happened to their babies, which is what I assume has happened here. It looks like the mother is just happily continuing to sing it's annoying song and doesn't hear the cries of her babies. My only complaint here is that nothing happens to the mother. A fitting end would be for her to get home, realize her babies are gone, and just then the bird that ate the babies drops a piece of her baby close to her and her face lights up in shock, just as the shadow of a farmer is seen in the background.
