I get the feeling, based on the title, that the "Selfishness" will be a typical mistaken accusation from the yukkuris to some force or object that isn't abiding to their will and needs regardless that the world doesn't work like that.
Based on the img text, they're crying because the faucet isn't giving them lots of, if any, water.
Yeah that's pretty much why i said the whole "Selfishness = typical yukkuri fail logic about object being mean or selfish to them" is the reason behind the title.
Now i wonder if the anko is 100% the typical "Yukkuri vs Faucet" story or if there is some sort of twist or original approach to it?

The part where they're trying to get water out of a faucet is only about one fifth of the story.
It starts off explaining or talking about their selfishness and how people who tried to make pets of them eventually threw them out on the street. I think its a stray herd or maybe just one family that can't get water out of the faucet so they sit there for awhile crying about it.
I couldn't really make the next parts out too well but it looks like they got so dehydrated from just sitting there crying at the faucet that when it started to rain they were actually happy about it and some of them might have just stayed there and melted. Whether on not any actually get killed, the rain creates some muddy puddles they can drink from, albeit most likely very unhappily. A few more things happen that I can't make out then it kind of looks like some factory workers snag them all.
There's probably an overall theme of the yukkuri's selfishness, but its hard to make out with only an online translator.
JusticeItEasy said: Ah so it has nothing to do with the Yukkuris ranting and pov about stuff not abiding to their way? didn't expect that.
I'm not too sure so I wouldn't go that far. It's hard to get the finer nuances of a story from just translator babble, but overall it seems to be an anecdote about the selfishness/stupidity of yukkuri and the shenanigans that befall them because of it.
