somehow i pictured the reimu saying "awwww, it took a dump! <3", don't ask me where that came from, we all know yukkuris don't say that, but somehow it felt so fitting for the reimu.

Well, not in those exact words, but we all know how delighted many yukkuri are to see their offspring excrete, lord knows why.
dexter said: seconded. these type of storylines are always fun even though I can't help but wonder the owners do not simply castrate them like normal pets.
Many reasons for that:
1) Leaving the prospect open for the future since castration tends to be a point of no return, some people may not want babies now, but could also consider having them in the future when things are in better shape.
2) The Yukkuri could be Gold Badge, but with faulty training instead of the proper one, leading to the miss trusting her, sadly her trust would be misplaced.
3) Part of the training to get better badges, if a yukkuri is able to respect the "no babies" rule, it will have better chances in the badge tests.
4) It could be a case of the new one, Alice, corrupting the, until then, nice and rule abiding Reimu pet. Kinda like the Yukkuri in the City Hardships story, but, from the looks of it, without the Alice having the malice of using that as a way to get rid of her Reimu partner, like the Marisa of that other story did.
The yukkuri is a silver badge that miss has had for 6 months. Its generally well behaved but it's not smart enough for a gold badge. As a reward for managing to get the silver badge though, Miss says she will give her a gift. Reimu asks for a husband but miss refuses because she can't afford it. However after getting sick of her whining she relents after a few days
She makes a rule that the yukkuris are not allowed to have children, but they eventually break the rule, thinking that if miss sees the babies she will change her mind.
When she gets home she is dissapointed in Reimu because she had hoped that she would be better than that. She eventually loses her anger when the yukkuri smile at her expecting her to praise their babies. She punches their bed, and after calming the babies down, they begin to shout at miss to apoligize.
Miss asks them about her rule but the Alice says "who cares about that? / that doesn't matter" and implies that their babies easiness is the most important thing. Miss loses it again slapping the bed around. The yukkuris are begining to get afraid of the loud and out of control miss (she loses control of herself when she is angry).
They try to explain how they thought the easy babies would change misses mind. Miss is not impressed and grabs each ones cheek. She begins to increase the pressure on them as she talks herself into a rage at being disrespected and disobeyed. The yukkuris begin to really freak the fuck out.
After some more back and forth, miss eventually allows the squashed misirable yukkuris to keep their children, but only if they raise them properly, and with no help from her. And if the babies are shitheads or the parents cant cope, she will dispose of them immediatly.
The yukkuris are useless at raising them, not softening their food causing them to loose some teeth. The babies also shit in the fluffy bed, and reimu(!) cleans it up. The babies also wake up in the night and cry, annoying Oneechan. Once again she goes to throw them out but she gets begged not too. She thinks to herself that she will give them one week to sort out if they are worth keeping.
Its basically just a light trolling story, with the owner getting used to its pets (which are generally good yukkuri) so much that she can't kill them. There are some really good parts when she first finds out they are preggers, she really teaches them a lesson about listening to miss and not thinking retardidly that everyone will love their babies.
Maybe I didn't get it across, but its more the Reimu wanting the kids and disobeying miss....
Also the exclimation point is because I come from the view that most Reimu mothers are pretty lazy, especially when they have a mate around, so I was suprised that Reimu was the one picking up the poo in its mouth and moving it.
dexter said: I do despise it when these stories lack a good ending. If I were miss, I would have squashed the alice.
Agreed, i don't think those yu's deserved the owner's care, killing them or just kicking them out can be debated, but this yu's clearly didn't take miss easiness in consideration, and no going "if she see's the babies she'll take it eays" isn't considering the miss's easiness, there is a reason why she goes "NO BABIES!".
Anyway after reading this scenario, the quality of the Reimu and it's early misbehaviour, i think it would had been better if she had castrated both Reimu and Alice like dexter said, they clearly weren't the type that could "follow the rule" since day 1.
Explosion said: Also, unlike animals that only want to reproduce out of instinct, yukkuri willingly think about wanting to have children to the point of it being one of their main "taking it easy" requirements. Castrating them might cause them to become "uneasy" eventually resulting in death.

And had the story ended here, it would've been heart-warming and cute. Unfortunately, there's a sequel: anko3549.
