And i think pastries tend to be good enough to conduct electricity, i think as long as the material is averagely organic, or metallic if not inorganic.
But it's not going through bean paste first; it's going through hair, which is spun sugar or something. And being organic does not automatically mean conductive; look at pretty much every plastic that isn't doped to increase conductivity.
