"Shoot the shaggy dog", basically a story that the main character suffers and works a lot, and when the big end is reached. . .he or she dies without acomplishing anything or having everybody they love killed as well. Basically all the efforts and suffering of the main characters were made for nothing, a waste.
Since Pachunyun is alive, then my prediction of her dying in the explosion, making Unyu's effort a waste, was avoided. As long as neither "SCIENCE" Eirin or other Factory members get Pachunyun, such ending will not happen.
Hey, that's my favorite kind of ending, where all their efforts are for naught. I wonder what Pachunyun's filling is made of? It looks like bean paste, certainly...But maybe it tastes like cream and isotopes.

The thing would be eating it without triggering a nuclear explosion, i mean, a little cut and Unyu blowed up. . .which now makes me wonder how the hell did she live long enough to have a family when a little cut can make her go KABOOM Fallout style.
Though the Patchouli side of Pachunyun may had toned down the explosive factor and just left the Radlicious taste!
