Sometimes, I think the best pet option is to go with Gold or Platinum Minikurri's, if they exist, and forget about average pet yu's.

Unless you're one of those that hopes your average pet yu's evolves into bodied yukkuri to make her your waifu, but that's another story...

How thoroughly has the badge system been applied to minikkuri?

My general understanding is that the reduction in size and paste means most yukkuri artists and such draw mini yukkuri to be very stupid and weak, but generally nice to those who treat them well. Even the strays.

In all seriousness I think it hasn't been applied yet, If anything I'm just assuming a potential badge system for minikkuri's, or at least a ideal scenario to get them as pets.

Though I think poweryoga at least did work with the concept, in his Yu Ant Farm story the pet shops also had Badge system for the pet minikkuris/house yu's

It hasn't.

Minikurris simply never caught on the same way house yu's never caught on. Unless you're a fairly good artist (its all about perspective!), its essentially impossible to write a story using minikurris since theres no generally accepted size range.
