"After all the harvest was brought back and transferred into the nest did the two yukkuri discover that their food reserves were extremely abundant, more than enough to pass the winter. They excitedly rub-rub'd together in celebration."
"Marisa told Reimu that the reason she was able to collect such an abundant harvest was all thanks to a kind-hearted Patchouli. Reimu proposed that after things had settled down, they must go give Patchouli their thanks. Marisa also agreed."
"The second day, the arrangements in their new house complete. After making sure their little ones were safe, the two yu's took some food with them, and walked off towards Patchouli's home."
"Seen from a distance, there were five little ones rambunctiously playing at Patchouli's doorstep, while Patchouli herself sat at the nest's doorstep looking after them. Seeing Marisa and Reimu arrive, Patchouli hastily bid her little ones to do a proper greeting. The two families quickly broken into conversation."
We have to remember that the whole thing was suspiciously convenient, maybe not so much the abandoned farm (though one could add it to the too covenient if there is implications of this being a massive trap by humans.), but the convenient big cave nest with nearly everything they need and all that? That still raises flags if you ask me.
Overall I'm open to see any end, but again that nagging feeling of this being too convenient for yu's keeps pestering me.
The only problem would be if the story ends with no hinch and Poweryoga will be forced to redub this whole thing as FF and erase loads of comments for it =3=...

I am not. Unless there is a good explanation for everything that had been so convenient, like this being a special park for yu's made by humans or something, I'll keep having this nagging feeling that something is off, too convenient for it to be casual.
There has to be some unknown benefactor (if nothing bad happens to them) or a unknown tormentor (if things starts to go bad soon.) in this whole thing!
I refuse to think that something with -9999 in Luck like yukkuris can get this nice/trap random event! This has to be a prepared event!
*shrug* Plenty of animals utilize abandoned nests from other animals. Although unlikely, its hardly impossible. If anything you could say that dramatic convention makes it more likely it is a coincidence. Many stories cherry-pick the instance where all odds are overcome because the story where the hero gets plugged by the second thug he comes across is boring.
Again Yukkuris, creatures whose Luck stat is -9999, this level of beneficial or suspicious coincidences must have an explanation beyond "by chance they found an abandoned nest", someone had to prepare it, disregarding their intentions.
Plus since this is Hy...suspicious of someone influencing this coincidences are doubled...
If they had to die, Kinda hoping it's a trap set by a Yamame or something, I liked the first story that did that. If not, then I would like this to be shown as some Yu Park with human caretakers that plan the goodies without the yu's knowing.
Marisa told Reimu that the reason why she was able to collect so much food was due to Patchouli's kindness. Reimu suggested that after they were settled in, they had to go thank her. Marisa agreed.Once all the gathered food had been brought into the nest, the two yukkuris discovered that their food storage was replete enough to last the entire winter. They squished together passionately in celebration. From far away they could see that five little ones were playing in front of Patchouli's home. Patchouli herself was sitting in the entrance watching over the little ones. When she saw Marisa and Reimu arrive, Patchouli hurriedly called the little ones up to go greet them.
The two families of yukkuris started to converse happily. The second day, their new home had been prepared. After settling down the little ones, the two yukkuris took some food with them and headed towards Patchouli's home.
