I don't think that's sad at all. Reimu is not only taking it easy but she's also making herself useful. Her mother's life was cut short because of her unhealthy lifestyle up until now, but she had a good time before she died.
The composter was cleaned up carefully
And yet she stocked up feasts like flowers, caterpillars, fruit peels and such, and also dried-grasses as emergency food for the time after she had got babies.She even made the bed for pregnancy using leaves and grasses,
and after all is done
she waited for the coming of that day, fully prepared.On that day, I told Reimu that I will help her finding her partner when I put the dinner leftover into the composter.
Reimu was extremely happy upon listening that.Well, what ever will work for me anyway.
Some new problems turned up after that, however.
The leftover processing capacity of the composter had dropped.As a result, wild grasses in the garden started to grow again.Maybe she had developed neuroses when her lonely life was overlapped with heat period.
The number of yukkuris decreased, and the remaining yukkuri had no appetite.It seemed that it's necessary to get new yukkuris by that time.She took baths for so long that her body almost got melted, and she carefully smoothed over the ruffles of her ribbon with her foot, bit by bit.Yuuu~
