There's also lick lick before. IINM, there are animals that do this to their youngs. It's supposed to relax the muscle and stimulate their bowel to start pushing the shit out.
I just love how doomed yukkuris generally are. They can't even shit properly.
Again, it's not exclusive to yukkuri.
For example...
The mother cat will stimulate her kitten's elimination by licking his anus and genital area with her rough tongue. […]
Normally, kittens will have a couple of firm, yellowish stools per day if they are being properly fed. Most kittens can control their own bowel movements at about 10 days old.

As Salem had said, lately, some artists made that the baby yus need help from their parent with doing poo poo by licking. Before that, we had the poo poo dance or they just simple shit themself.
Lick lick is giving stimulation. If authors made it like in animals, the newborn yukkuri still doesn't have good enough control of their spinchter to let out harder and bigger shit. Now they are eating real food rather than just leaking out excess paste not flowed back through the stalk.
Poo Poo dance is more like a rigorous move to shake their paste, making it easier to collect their old paste near the back door and then push it out.
