Um, take a look around. I count on the first 5 pages alone there's about a 50-50 ratio of friendly + abuse stuff. It's ok if you don't like abuse stuff, but trying to be openly blind about it and complaining is rather silly.
That's just your opinion. I think yukkuris are better because there's abuse as well as family friendly stuff. It allows for more life in the yukkuri world rather than everything being sunshines and roses and boring shit. Variety is the spice of life.
It's called real life. I know you moe fuckers have become accustomed to all that cuteness and happiness found in your anime but as Rocky Balboa once said "The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it."
I want the nastiness and hate. Every day the world comes up with new and exciting ways to torment and kill yukkuris and we love it, I love it.
>I think we pinpointed the problem, Doctor. I think you're ignoring the correct interpretation in favour of trying to be funny and/or mean and/or trying to mess with SUN.
You know, movies aren't real life either, but the truly good movies, the classics, are the ones that accurately reflect life and present a high degree of realism.
No one wants to go back to old cheesy Batman after the grittiness and degree of realism found in Batman Begins and the Dark Knight.
Even less serious and more fantastical movies like Star Wars acknowledge realistic elements like the effects of corruption and arrogance.
And then there's the classics which have no science fiction of supernatural elements, that present solid plots and no bullshit such as "This girl is cute and therefore she is the good guy and must always win." which seems to be the case with all these "moe" enthusiasts.
But no, with yukkuris it has to be all "Take it easy!" and happiness and joy and nobody gets hurt. Fuck that shit. It's just not kosher for these yukkuris to have such easy lives while the rest of us toil and burn.
>>the truly good movies, the classics, are the ones that accurately reflect life and present a high degree of realism. Different strokes for different folks. Look at Metropolis; that Science Fiction film is the only movie from the 1920s I'll probably ever watch. >>No one wants to go back to old cheesy Batman after the grittiness and degree of realism found in Batman Begins and the Dark Knight. You've now presented two completely baseless and simply wrong arguments, and it's only the second line. >>while the rest of us toil and burn. Feel free to go brutalized the son of a millionaire, or the 20-something nextdoor neighbor that just won the lottery. Plenty of people in real life have it easy. There's absolutley no need to force your shitty GRIMDARK "realism" down the gullets of people who prefer lighter entertainment.
This is too long of a response for you so you can just go away.
Far from baseless and certainly not wrong. There is a hierarchy of thought and intelligence; anyone above a certain level of maturity, experience, and intelligence simply cannot watch something that is beneath them and be wholly entertained and engaged. I like dumb action moves too- one particular series that l like that others consider dumb is Riddick. Now there are certain aspects of it that I like but in order to watch the move I have to turn off higher brain functions. The movie is full of logical gaffes and other errors that would make the movies unwatchable if I was thinking at full capacity.
You should know what I'm talking about- after all, you like Touhou, but Touhou is nothing but a fun game where the plot consists of dumb bitches that are hosting a party somewhere so they fuck up the environment in a harmless way, causing the heroines to blast endless enemies to stop them. On the other hand, the last good classic movie I watched was the Shawshank Redemption and no amount of Touhou or Riddick or other crap will engage me on the same level as that movie. Doesn't mean I can't enjoy them, just like people who watch really bad movies not because they want an engaging experience but because they enjoy the laughs watching something that's "so bad it's good."
If you want another example, some people appreciate forms of math that are too complex for the average man to even understand, much less appreciate. Once a person has that understanding they simply can't get the same level of stimulation from lower maths; they can still go into elementary schools and help the kids do 1+1 but in order to actually think, to be engaged, they have to go back to the higher level.
There's no need for me to force realism down anyone's throats of course since they experience it enough already. But then again, I'm not exactly forcing anything, simply stating that "nastiness" is not to be mistaken for reality.
I can certainly see how typing a few short paragraphs is time-consuming for kiddies such as yourselves. Just typing one sentence must be a huge loss of time for you.
And considering I produce like one image every few weeks, obviously I don't have a lot of time to devote to this. But I guess basic logic doesn't come easily to you.
Looking back, this is not just the evolution of meme mascots, but more the evolution of communities. Yukkuri in niconico videos still keeps their original humorous / surreal natures while here... They are...
