If I understand it easy, Reimu and kos are getting fed with sleeping pills (or even just lemon pills?) and, instead of food, they eat garbage so fem anon had no need to pay for trash services.

That seems to be the idea. She gives them lemon candy to put them to sleep, steals their money, and then feeds them weeds and such to make them think they spent the cash on food.

She's pretty cruel, but outside of the premature Reimu they all sound like shitheads, so I don't feel so bad about the situation.

I agree wasa koreimu and komarisa are shitheads, but not really seeing mother Reimu as one.

The mother knows the way of humans.

I wouldn't say the kids are shitheads -- they're just young, and are fearful. What, you've never seen a kid try to defend their room/stuff? Stupid, yes, but I don't think they're shit.

She just feed them trash because she need them alive to bring her money everyday. If she doesn't, they'll possibly starve to death (or do more stupid things)
While not getting any easyness, they will survive.

Besides, it seems like they have Marisa father and an older Marisa sibling who went out hunting.

The first page-wasa koreimu says "stupid humans should listen to beautiful idol Reimu's song" and komarisa tells people they're not giving enough money. And before Miss Anon even does anything, komarisa puffs at her and tells her to get out of the way.

If we did, I don't recall the discussion or may not have replied to that.

Not trolling-So your headcanon is that foul language is ingrained in ALL yus, and it evolves based upon life experience? So, by extension, you would only label a yu as scum in adulthood?

My headcanon is language mirrors mindset; that is, a shithead is born with rudeness for attitude and speech and a nicehead is born more deferential in manner and words. Although artwork and games would support this, I realize there is room for reasonable difference.

I like to believe that even the stupid can eventually reach enlightenment -- it's not that they're stupid, it's that they have a different, albeit possibly incorrect, perspective.

Remember what Albert Einstein said:
“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

Foul language can be just as ingrained in all yus as wanting to eat birthday cake or parfait, yet the yu was born a stray and should have zero knowledge of such delicacies. Yukkuri have no preset determination for how their genetics go. They can be anything the author denotes. A gutter trash or shithead can still give it's life to save it's family, or other shitheads. They've done it before in other stories. It's just pretty rare.
