If you're going to nitpick, know that there's another hard translated version of this series that can be found in the pool. Here's the corresponding page: post #684
"Sacrificing other yukkuri so you can take it easy, can you really take it easy?"
Yes. The answer is yes.
Some argue that those others are innocent. However, Reimu is also innocent. In other words, there is no net loss (ie increase in immorality) caused by switching the Reimu with a twin.
This fact leads on to the next point: equality. Reimu has already been a victim of abuse, but the others haven't - it is unfair to subject someone to more pain simply because they've experienced pain before. In other words, if the yukkuri all deserve it equally (since they are 'innocent,' environmental damage notwithstanding), they should have their abuse allocated equally.
Alice is wrong in saying that Reimu is abandoning complainions (sic) because Reimu is sacrificing some yukkuri for all yukkuri. If Reimu didn't do anything, all her companions (the current yukkuri) would suffer - however, if Reimu carries out her plan, she'll at least save some of her companions.
Almost all animals and plants have selfishness ingrained in them. Alice assumes that the yukkuri have moral ideologies, when in fact they're just fighting to survive. Can she reasonably expect yukkuri to sacrifice themselves, knowing full well the simplicity and short-sightedness of yukkuri?
However, emotional manipulation is definitely a dirty trick. Alice could argue that Reimu was proven guilty while nothing was proven about wild yukkuri, justifying her hate for these current victims.
That concludes my TED talk, thank you for reading through my long-winded explanation.
Take it easy - sharing the easiness, that's what yukkuri always talk, but do less.
This mod Reimu is not easy but selfish one - it wants another manjuu to replace her. The ultimate goal is for her OWN EASINESS not for yukkuri: it doesn't hesitate to kill its own kos. It's fine with getting Youmu to suffer for it. If it's a easy yukkuri, she invites Youmu to escape with it. I think it's enough. This pool is a good story.
