I could see that. Love does strange things. Ultimately, the only thing a yu (or human) has to offer another is oneself, and becoming bodied is the highest expression (in such cases).

I'm so conditioned to expect horror and suffering that I initially thought the loss of color was somehow an indicator that things would become dark and bleak.
