The (pseudo) Infinitely Impregnated Exploding Yukkuri
At last, I've succeeded in discovering a way to cause a yukkuri to be (almost) infinitely impregnated with breeding pools instead of exploding when reaching a certain size threshold. The project, which is called Infinitely Impregnated Exploding Yukkuri Project (hereafter I2EYP), aims to recreate the situation experienced in post #64383 in the latest version of SimYukkuri (1.13 Hiatus Translated).
Initially, I2EYP started out with stacking 10 slow breeding pools with an orange pool on top to simulate the setup mentioned in post #64383, and placing a Reimu on all of these. However, the experiment repeatedly ended in failures with the yukkuri exploding after just approximately 60 charges (6 visible inflation multiplied with 10 pools - remember, these are SLOW pools), regardless of altered elements - the addition or redaction of an orange pool, the introduction of an orange ampoule, or the separation of pools from one another. Consequently, the I2EYP and its dedicated lab was abandoned altogether.
However, a breakthrough was achieved through an accidental observation. I was placing a burning Marisa (with an orange ampoule stuck into it) onto a stack of fast breeding pools, and I was surprised to see it growing up to approximately 450 charges (45 visible inflations multiplied by 10 pools), dwarfing the Dosu right next to it, before exploding. So I attempted to re-enact the situation in the former I2EYP lab, and the experiment succeeded, which can be seen in the image here. The Reimu in question also withstoon 450 pregnancy charges before reaching its limit and bursting into a magnificent deluge of koyukkuri falling from the sky.
So what makes the current experiment suceed, separating it from the failed attempts in the past? The key difference, as I've isolated from multiple tests, lies in the fact that the tested yukkuri is being set on fire as it gets impregnated. This may possibly be a bug in the game's system, which allows the yukkuri being tested with to exceed its normal size threshold (60 charges from slow pools) in pregnancy without exploding, until it reaches the new 450 charges limit. Additionally, as my observation holds, this bug works for every kind of yukkuri, as long as it's set alight and has an orange ampoule to maintain its vitality. While this certainly isn't anywhere close to infinity as the original purpose of I2EYP aims for, it is undeniably a new hallmark in the progress of searching for the true infinite impregnation, and would set the foundation for any further researches into the matter.
