So this is a new breakthrough. The yukkuri is modified so they can grow many babies, and then the babies will grow with external nutrients like real plants. This way, the parents will not be burdened and can quickly make another batch of babies.
First, the parents shower them with their sweet pee pee, but after that root and stalk will grow under their body with leaves opening to capture sunlight.
This so-called "grass yukkuri" has great nutrient gathering quality so they can grow even in soil not fit for agriculture. There's also not much care needed for them to grow.
Thanks to the abundance of nutrients and sunlight, they grow bigger than normal baby yukkuri and has better skin quality, reflecting their innards' quality.
With the success of this research, they're ready to proceed to mass production.
Even so, the lost of the researcher who first suggested this method is still grieved by the researchers.
