Marisha and her family are dragged by the strays to their town. It's located in the outskirt of the town, far enough to not disturb human.
This is place of the outcasts, city of scum. There are abandoned pets, children thrown away by their family, or yukkuri exiled for breaking clan's rule. They are the lowest of low in yukkuri society, the peoples who can't fall any lower.
Marisa is taken to a brothel to work as slave.

The job given to them is cleaning up. Marisha is put under Chen's supervision, but she can't do a thing.
Marisha is better. Her sister Wasa Reimyu are built to as "tragic heroine" type. She get what she wants by putting a pledging face and expect others to feel sorry for her.
That's not going to work for the Alice assigned to her. Alice is all too experienced to be swayed by act like Reimyu's.
Even the Patchouli that Reimyu thought will stand for her actually told Alice to not be so soft on the useless Reimyu.
The other children ? Well, Wasa Reimyu throws a fit and the Marisha quintuplet has even lost their ability to speak.
By the end of the day, by sympathy, the house gave Marisha food for eight koyukkuri. It's a mercy, but they don't understand it's a food.
Chen tried so hard to tell Marisha. Only their real parent will truly love them. Nobody else will. That's why when their parents are gone, they have to live on their own.

Reimyu felt sympathy for Marisha's family, but Alice stopped her. A Patchouli tried that, and rather than gratefulness, Marisha and her family instantly registered the Patchouli as their slave and demanded more food. Reimyu can try if she wants, but Alice is not recommending it.
Reimyu regretted that she does because ever since that day she have to avoid the place or else she will be terrorized by Marisha and her family's screaming at her.
One day, boss Marisa bring a new inmate. It's a premature yukkuri thrown away by her family. At first, Marisha thought this can be an entertainment to forget their suffering, someone lower than them.
But the premature yukkuri is not responding as they wanted. She's always happy and even eat the shit in the dungeon like it's so tasty.

How it goes is just as expected. Father Marisa has lost all her love as a father. Meanwhile the children won't sacrifice themselves, they have their real loving mother.
Father Marisa laughed. She told Marisha how that bitch killed a rare type pet yukkuri and the children. Yes, a yu-murderer. She must be dead by now.
Oh right, Marisha saw everything. Hearing that, Marisha remembered things she saw but didn't understand back then. A smell more unpleasant than poo poo, a Sanae and from her mamu mamu, dead babies.
Her real mother is a murderer. Marisha lost the last of her hope.

One night, Marisha woke up in the middle of the night. She saw boss Marisa talking with one eared Chen.
Boss Marisa told Chen about love and how those children ends up as they are, or at least what she's taught by the abyuser she used to live with.
Spoiling is not the same as loving.
Parents who really love their children will not just spoil their children. They will be harsh and teach the children to be strong,
Imagine, if Chen came to the brothel and her favourite girl is booked, what will Chen do ? Chen will just think it's too bad and come another day.

Her first customer is a kind traveler swordsyu Myon who got taken in as bodyguard. She fights even better than Boss Marisa. She will surely be gentle with Reimu.
